  1. Ive bought the one from billinge mate im he's postman lol
  2. I have recently bought a "Stormsheild" its not trapping any moisture i paid quite a bit for it but its doing a great job of protecting my corrado. Most car cover companys recommend you remove the cover once a week to "check the car" probably to let the body work have air blowing over it for a while . I wouldn't worry about it mate having the cover on has got to beat all that tree sap all over the bodywork.
  3. Thanks for that jon really appreciated mate! not looking forward to refitting everything but its all good fun :-)
  4. Cheers for that jim mate really appreciated , the previous owner told me the matrix had been replaced a few months ago, but by the looks of it, it doesn't look even "newish" to me. I will order a new one then from vw cheers mate. :-)
  5. After a drivers side wing for my 95 vr6 not fussed about colour really my current wing is past repair im in Wigan thanks in advance
  6. Hi everyone been wrestling my heater matrix out over this weekend anyway its finally out, but during the process i broke the arm that comes out the matrix unix that sends air to the passenger vent. My question is can i still get the arm or do i have to buy second hand? And also is there a company that makes an upgraded heater matrix im thinking all metal instead of the plastic part on the top that fails? Any help much appreciated.
  7. Cheers mate, james not been around then? Was hoping to see some pictures of the campaign
  8. Now then everyone hows it going? Good i hope been quite a while since was on the forum i used to own a moonlight blue 8v and i sold it to kipvw. I've recently bought a mulberry vr6 and in true corrado fashion the heater matrix spewed coolant into the interior so just in the middle of taking the dashboard out, all good fun :-) i will get some pictures on soon, james if u read this hows the campaign doing look forward to catching up

  14. Hi everyone this is going to to a lil tricky. Im picking some wheels up on friday for the rado. Ive seen them and there lovely and in good condition tyres and rims, but i dont know the name of the wheels and cant find a picture of them on the internet. Best i can describe them are as follows : They are a 4 stud pattern BBS Looks kinda like bbs splits I was told they where only fitted to top spec MK3 Golf cabriolets They have loads of mini studs all dotted round the alloy Quite big diamond shapes center caps with huge "BBS" font. Not much more i can say to describe them really just wanted to know a bit more about them and wondered if anyone else on here has them fitted to there 8v
  15. Mines an 8v never had this problem mate. You havent been playing with the air filter and left a sensor unplugged i did that once took me ages to realise? checked the rotor arm is in good condition plugs / ht leads usual stuff all checked ???
  16. A mate of mine got the sack from the council 3 week ago after 30 years of service. He went to the jobcentre to sign on and find a new job and the adviser said "you can only claim job seekers alowance for 16 weeks then after that it stops ! Theres bagheads and scum out there who dont want to work and they can claim as long as they want, get a flat or house, kids paid for the lot ! Absolute shocking government this. Im voting ukip or edl next
  17. Ive kinda got that feeling at the minute , not even been on here for about a month. Been looking at 20v passat estates , golfs and 4motions. Dont know why because ive never been as exited about picking a car up for the first time as i was when i bought the corrado. Must be the weather i hope.
  18. Unfortunatly the trafford meet hasnt happend for some time now mate. But check on the events section and theres details about northwestdubs monthly meet at the charnley arms pub/resteraunt in wigan :) its next month mate usually a great turnout.

  21. Thanks for your replies guys. When i picked the car up from having the camber done the car now handles a lot better and feels a lot more confident in the corners. The guys at the garage gave me a before/after result on paper and turns out the camber was way out. Went to harewood today and felt great down the B roads
  22. Had a fantastic day big thanks to James for letting me follow him down and getting a lil lost was all part of the fun, great to meet some new people :)
  23. Glad to here she runs ok matey. Another 8valver joins us :) Cant wait to see the pictures
  24. Hello everyone a i had the car lowered recently 45mm springs and the front tryes are leaning inwards and causing them to wear on the inside. So today the camber is being set back to factory setting. Will this stop the tyres leaning inwards or at least help? I saw no other option but to have the camber done as ive already had to change the front tyres due to the inside wearing away completley because of the leaning.
