  1. Seen a light metallic blue VR6 near Rickmansworth a few times - (sounds fab under full bore acceleration by the way) - also a nice pearl white Greg G60 (I think) - nice kit on it !

That could of been me mate, as I work in Watford and I am sometimes at the Royal Mail sorting office, which I believe is that way?

  2. You can get a good MKII Golf for that sort of money, 1.8 8 or 16 valve. Both very good cars, with good engines. 8v for town driving, 16v more for motorway thrashes. My 8v is currently sitting in my garage waiting for good weather so I can do some work to it. I miss it in some ways, the low down torque makes it really easy to drive, and the coilovers made it handle superbly.

  3. I was washing my car on Sunday, and I noticed the plastic that the rear number plate and boot lock is attached to has come away at one of the corners. I thought it should just push back on as a clip may have come loose. It doesn't. I think it has probably snapped. Does anyone know the cost of these and if it'll be easy to do, as I'm guessing the boot lock will have to come off as well?

    Cheers.

  4. Read the terms and conditions, it mat say prices are subject to change at any time, without prior notification, or that they are not responsible for mistakes in pricing on their website. Also if the money for the subframes hasn't been taken yet, then there has been no selling contract made between you and the seller, and they can refuse to accept your order. I do agree with you though, they should sell them at the price advertised.

  5. I would buy the software, but I don't have a lap top, and I would need a massively long lead to link it to my PC at home.

Is there anyone in Herts/Beds area that has the software, and could possibly help me out? It would be greatly appreciated.

  6. My costs, on a monthly basis are about £210, that's £60 for insurance, and the rest on petrol.

Th only repair I've had to do so far, was the rad, and that was £150 all in. Not to bad so far.

I've also got the loan to buy the car as well, which is around £150 per month.

(By comparison, my MKII GTI, was £180 per month, for insurance and petrol.)
