On the CCGB stand at the Bath & West show we had folk looking to buy a Corrado and asking for.advice. One even offered Kev 7k for his VR! So, the interest is there. As for actual sales...

Nice offer. I'm holding out for a full set as I need cards etc. I thought it was the heated set I looked at in the Cat C that was in Portsmouth. Apparently that got sold to a Sheffield chap.

Ok. The weather is looking good for tomorrow morning and first part of the afternoon. I'm up for meet and I'll be at the Redlands Homebase car park from 10.30-11. Hope some of you can make it. If not, we'll try the first Sunday in July too!

Early days but Leblanc appears to come out shining (apart from the studio). Evans needs to stick to being a compare or warm up act for large events. Better still, on the radio where I can't see him and can switch off the minute he mentions his health.
We'll keep watching as its puerile fun for the worst night of the week!

Suggestion - head to Boscombe Beach for some snaps and perhaps we could run out to The Bakers Arms at Lychett Minster or the Stocks at Wimborne. Both have car parks. Are you in?!

This event is nearly here and several have expressed an interest in going. The event is open to all VW's and entrance is £10 which gives you open access to the museum. Details of the event are here https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-vw/
I'll be travelling from the West and am happy to meet any local Cs. I'll be at the lay-by off the A31 at the bottom of Salisbury Road in Ringwood (BH24 1AS) from 8-8.15 at latest. It's 35 minutes to the car park at Beaulieu (SO42 7ZN) where we can all meet and go in as a group at 9. It's the only way to park up together!
Hope to see some of you there, and anyone from the CCGB, can you bring some application forms!
