VR6 South

Mine will be 99% stock once I have put my Speedlines back on. The only thing which has beeen upgraded is the ICE.

I've tried to fit them on my VR but they kept coming off!

I'm running on 16" A3 T wheels with 3mm spacers, not sure if they're essential though.

I purchased one of these earlier this year. The guy is really helpful and I have so far polished 2 boats and 3 VW's . No swirl marks to report, just paint that looks like glass :)

Probably no more than 5.5k nearer 6k if the paint is sorted and it has the obligatory leather. It's not a good time of year to sell at the moment unless someone wants a Corrado for christmas.

I've been given two numbers for the heated seat relays and I'm not sure which is the right one :?

I think it should be either 443 919 333A or 161 919 533? I also need two of these before the cold weather gets here!

I had a similar thing happen at a local tyre fitters. After kicking up like stink and standing my ground they agreed to repair the damage. They got a good job done as well. I now do a visual inspection with the fitter to agree the condition of the wheels before they start. You live and learn.

End of the day anything can be done.

 

I know that GTI 8v and 16v engines will fit into a mk3 polo with ALOT of work as the engines lean differently (polo forwards, golf rearwards).

 

Not going to be a straight forwrd conversion. Golf engines are quite tall compared with Polos.

 

Most mk4 boys tend to use polo engines for conversions... the later 1.6 16v's drop in easy enough.

 

Best place to ask (even though I hate to admit) is clubpolo. If you can battle your way through all the waffle and bs on there, there are some very knowledgable peeps on there (even though they tend not to post so much as most mk4 polo owners are knobs that dont know what they're talking about)

There's nothing wrong with the Polo forums the members of their have been as helpful to me as anyone on this forum. I don't see why you are slating fellow VAG owners :roll: UK-Polos.net are a great bunch as well.

Yeah, it's got BBS caps. I think the Storm posters had 'em with VW caps, but they were actually sold with BBS caps :?

I have had discount of 10% from White Rose in Petersfield and Peter Cooper in Portsmouth using a CCGB card which they don't always want to see.

What discount do "trade" get?

The thing is that some people will only buy from traders, and are prepared to pay a premium for a three month warranty thay usually covers next to nothing.

I expect if you went and made an offer, the response would probably be "sorry I'm not making much on this one "
