Dave, Could you give me a price please for a timing belt kit and water pump? Vehicle reg PJ11OOW. It would need to be posted as I am way down South.
-
I have two of these. One for the Corrado and one for the Golf. They have worked perfectly for at least three years now. The only downside is that they don't seem to work with batteries which are fully discharged.
-
Welcome to the forum. It would be good to see another Corrado in the neighbourhood.

Fitting is the ball ache. Best left to the experts and there are not many out there:)
-
U not read my Audrey thread then....search it and u will find my thread on here is teeny compared to the Briskoda one :lol:But, having said that I did own Audrey for 18months....
Will have to check it out

U on the Skoda forum, bud?Yes. There are some good people on Briskoda :) There is a good buyers guide for the Fabia.
-
LolHatchback pls :)
That also crossed my thought.
But prefer petrol
Aren't the PD injectors bit problematic for the 1.9?
Not to my knowledge. There are loads out there with mega miles which are still going strong. It's worth taking one for a test drive. They can also be safely remapped to 170BHP which also improves economy:)
-
Fabia vRS? I am biased but you should be able to pick one up within your budget. The PD engines have renowned reliability as well as returning good MPG.

Not if you own an 18 wheel truck :)!!Nearly there with four sets of wheels to do, I suppose I could also detail my lawn mower if I get bored :)

Another vote for Megs.Best I've used so far and coupled with their sponge applicator (could be made for way cheaper but the case is good) means easy application quickly and effectively each time without wasting product.
Good news as I have just purchased three bottles from Halfords during a flash sale plus the three for two offer.

I have just checked DVLA to see if one of my previous Corrados is still on the road. It is still taxed with a valid MOT. Does anyone have any knowledege of the cars whereabouts? I last saw the car when it came up for sale on Ebay a fair few years ago.

BJV Engineering have just quoted me £216.00 for a set of 4 18" Rays with tyres on, so they will be removing them and refitting. They are going in on Saturday for collection a week later.
Miles - I know that company, but will be returning to BJV. Thanks anyway Speak over the weekend.
Much cheaper than the £350 I was quoted locally for a set of 16" Fabia wheels.
I am sure it never costs me more than £30 on fuel to make the trip to BJV.

I have used these guys for a number of years with no issues. Their prices make it worth a trip from Portsmouth for me as most places in the area charge £££££

Good luck and nice work. It's a free market and anything which helps the Comminity is a bonus in my opinion.

My box was also damaged. It looked like someone had pushed the lid in to see what was inside. I guess all the parts are there as it was all surrounded by one piece of bubble wrap. I must double check tonight.

My set arrived today. Another very happy customer. Thanks again Andy.

I don't mind Martin, I'm still on courses for 2 weeks so happy either way. Will it save a quid or 2 on postage if we go halves? God that sounds tight! LolSorry Mate, I totally forgot due to having too many beers in Boscombe last night. I have paid Andy to post mine, but I am happy either way if you want me to pay the extra?
Off topic but we waved farewell to the Lancaster yesterday
-
Details sent. Not sure if Sean wants his sending to my home address?
-
All paid Andy. Thanks again.

Not at all Martin. Bear in mind, they'll need to arrive by 10th (ish) of April though or I won't be here! You're welcome to pick them up from my house though, I'll let the missus know if don't mind that mate.No problem at all. They can always be delivered to mine if that's any easier?

You can also cancel existing bids and then end the auction early in order to sell elsewhere. Saves paying 10% fees.
