  3. does the starter engage at all?do the lights on the dash go out when you turn the key to start the engine?
  4. if its glowing then i wouldnt drive it mate,could be running way to rich,might be worth giving gworks a call in case you cause major melt down

  6. from memory in my tool kit theres a reversable screwdriver,10/13mm spanner and a pair of pliers,my lead remover was attatched to the bonnet stay

  11. looks like the head gasket is on its way out..although i had the same on my sisters corsa a couple of years ago,so flushed the engine and changed filter and put in new oil and its been fine ever since

  18. i remember seeing an advert in the paper last week,think it was either lidl or aldi selling car covers for half the price of the ones from halfords,might be worth checking them out

  21. it would be cheaper to buy a vr6 in the first place,from what ive read fitting the 24v/R32 engines arnt to difficult its the wiring thats the hard bit

    yep,they are both heated,but the elements are pretty fragile though,only the drivers side mirror demists on mine now,the passenger side used to when i first got it
