Hi All With these now on the shelf i am still in need of a LHD car to test fit one on whether it be fitting the original carpet back in afterwards. Can anyone help?

yup pm me and i can arrange, some parts we dont list as stock items from classic, sometimes as im unsure they will be sellers for us to keep them, other times as ive not set them up yet, we get an order in every week then your looking at 2-3 weeks to come in thats teh current classic lead time for us, they have multiple warehouses so depending how far away the part is (which warehouse) usually is why it may take shorter / longer to come in. we would order it under a c number so instead of teh normal part numebr we add a c in front and special order it from classic for you, if you have teh vw number drop me a message and i can get it on order for you, orders over £35 are free delivery from us and the cost of germany postage is sucked up by us :-) hope that helps

Hi All Ive now set up all the part numbers for corrado RHD carpets and underfelt bonnet kits, over mat sets and underfelt kits, I can now take pre orders for all of these and teh first batch will be run at the beginning of December. They are not yet on our website as i dont have images so please call me or the sales team to set an order up

Can anyone help out with a LHD car they can fit a carpet into?

Hi All Here is a pic of the 8 piece underfelt Pic attached of the deluxe u/felt kit, this is an 8 piece kit, 4 pieces for the front, 4 for the rear, this is really for cars which have no u/felt in place. Made from the same material obviously. 4 piece underfelt Pic attached of the standard 4 piece u/felt kit, made from a heavy duty 10mm felt, 2 front pieces and 2 rear pieces. This is to add to cars that still have the original u/felt in place. G60 bonnet felt kit 5 pieces supplied with glue. Made from a pvc topped felt historically used for this purpose. Standard corrardo ( non g60) bonnet felt, 5 pieces, made from pvc laminated felt historically used for this purpose and below is an image of 2 carpets, I kbnow a few of you were concerned about the pile of the carpet, below the red is the newtons carpet and the black is the carpet i sent as a sample from a corrado, Newtons are looking to source a different style original type carpet also but do think they will only be able to get it in black, but from the pic you can see their carpet is a good pile compared to teh original

Just on the phone to newtons now, the carpet is black, it is just a camera, the boot turrets are his originals and the boto carpet / carpet matches. He is looking into supply for a more plush carpet currently, they have not had a supply before, this will push back pricing and push it back in time. at this stage it will be similar quality to what is in the boot of your current corrado, they are looking into a new supply for a different quality Underlay they will get me a photo of both this week, its a heavy duty modern felt type underlay that wont be the same as original They are now thinking they may just do the deluxe underlay only, this would be a 2 layer kit instead of a one layer, but Duncan has asked me to ask what people would prefer, Would you prefer a deluxe kit?

Hi All I suspect the colour is a result of images using a flash, being a photographer in my spare time flashes can do this and i know they were struggling to get decent images wiht it being against a black interior. Ive not yet seen it in the flesh so i cant comment on the pile of the carpet, but the fit looks great, The boot turrets at the moment are not an option, The tooling is around 2K per side to do so withthe amount of corrados they have decided for now at newtons its not worth doing but are going to look at it again at a later date. The underfelt i shall ask for some images and see what i can get sent over, with us being 3 ish hours from newtons its been alot of phone and e mail communications Pretty sure Newtons offer a fitting service, I can look further into this and maybe get some prices if availbale if people would like. I have copied the post and sent it to Duncan at newtons so hopefully he can give me some better answer, I will report back once i hear. Im not in work for the next 2 days so will post a reply once im back from blowing up things at bonfire night

there is blue available but its not that dark, have a look on newtons site for the colours avaialble

Clever move! Dan is kindly dropping them a bonnet down so they will be using that but will certainly keep that in mind Goldie

Hi All Just spoken with Duncan at Newtons, They are very happy with teh carpet and now have a black one fitted up, just waiting on images, They have also done the boot carpet but not teh turrets as these are a little trickier being moulded, we will be looking at these in the future dependant on demand. They will be offering the carpet in all the colours that the mk2 carpet comes in, black will be on the shelf as they will make a batch at a time, they will make extra black ones per batch to keep on the shelf and colours would need ordering. They have also made underfelt kits, a simple one to add to what you have or a deluxe one which would give a full kit. I should have some prices next week, they estimate currently that it will be approx 10% more than the golf one that we offer now but i cant be 100% sure until i have teh prices from them. Once i have these i can take pre orders and then they will run all pre orders and some black for stock at once. If anyone has a left hand drive car or carpet thats what i need to get the left hand drive one done as they want to do it on a carpet/car to make sure its right. if you are prepared to take it to them like Dan has then you get a fitted free carpet in your car. They are also thanks to Dan going to be working on producing a bonnet soundproofing kit too. Will keep you updated when i know more

I thinka t the moment we just plan to do standard colours but they do offer colours in the mk2 carpet and i have some interest from people over the pond for custom colours like red. Would corrado owners want different colours, i found from my research that corrado owners like to try and keep things original not sure what will happen with teh red one once its removed

they judt put on their FB this morning a pic of a red 206 GTI carpet lol

and some more Not too sure why they used red but it was just as a first sample, this is being changed to black as far as i know,
