  1. Ok i have set it up along with the early type early one is £6.34 plus VAT late one will retail with forum discount at £18.56 plus VAT obviously if you order over £35 online its free shipping. 90mm splitters are back in 4 on the shlef, they sell like hotcakes, we have another 10 on order I'd absolutely lvoe to be able to buy everything classic have mk2 and corrado lol but i think i'd get fired :-( they even had some edition one mk2 recaros a while back Im currently also working on getting ultra violet material made :-)
  2. Hi All Delayed reply You would be looking at approx £150 plus VAT for one via classic, i have been speaking with them about it as i was sure they are like mk2 golfs made out of the not so strong boad that breaks so i wanted to be sure that they could ship without any breakages. We would probably try to get classic to drop ship them to your door unstead of them coming in here to save time being shipped and risking getting damaged. There could be a bit of a shipping charge due to size, i would need to confirm this though. Classic do keep adding bits but also there are a few bits they have run out of recently :-( but we are trying to push tehm to reproduce things all the time, The good thing also is that since the corrado section on the site has been up and running corrado has done better thant eh boss's expected (told them there was a market) so thats good and it inspires them to do more with it. I can set that exhaust bracket up no probs but it does seem expensive for a shackle / bracket, would you guys buy it?
  3. Hi All Hope you are all well Classic parts are showing a couple of different headliners that they have stock of, Both are for sunroof models (although i noticed they have non sunroof roof skins in stock) they are also both light beige. Would anyone be interested, Is it worth me getting stock in?
  4. Hey all Newton now have the corrado You can see their progress here on their FB page https://www.facebook.com/NewtonCommercial
  5. i think it depends on the woner, i do find corrado owners spend more on their cars usually as there are less around and ists generally a more expensive car to own over a golf for example, also you guys seem to prefer and are more inclined to buy genuine parts unfortuantly these like teh golf ones are not an easy part to make as a good reproduction as they are not just rubber
  6. karma skis trims? yes they are expensive but i paid just under this 6 years ago for golf roof mouldings per side, so in my opinion i would pay if i had a corrado, unfortauntly we are also bound by supplier prices
  7. or go to corrado body parts then exterior trims, page 2

  9. The mk2 carpet we do is around 133 plus vat but the boot carpet and turrets is seperate
  10. Hi All Im pretty confident its going to be a great quality carpet, ive got their boot carpet and turrets in my own mk2 golf and i cant fault them, their products are pretty damn good and also they are always up for developing their products, Dan kindly said he will take some images and Newtons are going to send me some images also which i too will put up. I am enjoying the making new products like this at the moment i feel like im actually helping people
  11. I have a chap taking his car on the 18th of ths month to have the sample fitted into, all going well on this it wont be long before we start production, Depending on how many people are wanting these and due to the colour variations we will proabbly be offering them as a special order product to start with then looking to stock them here.
  12. Hi Guys and girls I have managed to get 5 of the left side of these into stock here at VW Heritage Not 100% sure if i will be able to get anymore, and cant get any rights, but a heads up!
  13. Its the metal water pipe, only one there is. the heater matrix ones are rubber
  14. Hi All Friday i have a sample metal water pipe turning up for GTI 16V,KR / PL engine these have been obsolete for some time, i really need someone that can fit it up and test it for me, then send me some pictures/feedback. Out of all of us here we have a TDI 1900, GTI 8V, GTD and VR6 mk2/corrado but no 16V, If you can do this then i would be happy for you to keep the pipe if it fits well and we are happy its a good one to then get made, i would need feedback and images and would need it fitted up asap Can anyone help? You can get me on e mail [email protected]
  15. Hey all I have a chap that is going to be takig his car to Newton so all going well mid November ish carpets should then be available for corrado !
  16. Thanks, had a couple of replies over on edition but all your corrado owners seem to be far away Newtons have one in their local scrapyard but someone has cut the tunnel out
  17. now further along again but i need some help from a lovely rado owner What i need to find next for them is someone willing to lend their car to newton commercial for a week in October, the week starting the 20th more than likely, In this week they wopuld take your interior out and fit up the new carpet sample they have made, check it fits and make any necessary tweaks to make it right, They are happy to help with travel to get you to a station etc to get you home. For doing this you would drive away with a brand new carpet fitted in your corrado. If anyone can help that would be great, they are based in Suffolk, If you can help please pm or e mail me [email protected] and i shall put you in touch with them to arrange
  18. Hi Guys Right this has moved on and i need a favour I have sent a sample off to newton commercial and they are fairly confident they can make it pretty easily, They only receievd the sample today from me so monday are going to look into it more with moulds, The next step will be to get a corrado in to them, they will then test fit a new carpet in removing all the seats and bits to test fit it, The person that takes the car would be there for a day, but you would drive away with a new fitted FOC carpet and obviously your old one to take home. Would anyone near Suffolk be prepared to do this for me? If so if you can PM me that would be great and we can get it arranged once i hear from them again
  19. Hi Ony just seen this thread, not been on in a couple of weeks its been hectic here with our warehouse move I agree our postage on small items is expensive, we usually if you call can reduce it a little for you, or if you can make up a £35 order with service bits etc then its free delicvery on a 2-3 working day service. I know most people think its the cost of a stamp but its also the cost of packing materials, someone to pick it, someone to pack it so it does all add up, but it is better to just make a larger order on the postage front, We are the UK dealer for classic parts, classic takes about 2 weeks from point of order on parts we dont stock, It used to be longer but recently classic have got it together and its now quicker, we put an order in every tuesday with classic so it also depends on what point you place your order in relation to our order with them I also try and price all our parts from classic as close to their retail as i can, also ordering via us you wont be payingpoostage from germany and having to translate their site etc. Yestwerday i set up a load of new bits from classic, spoiler motors, more badges, some trims they had available, i try and keep an eye on new stuff they find or get hold of. If anyone finds classic parts we list that are massivly different in price please PM me as they shouldnt be much different, we dont make a massive mark up on classic but unfortunately are bound by their prices also. I hope ive answered everything here, if i havnt anyone is welcome to pm or e mail me [email protected] and i shall try and answer any of your questions
  20. I have a sample! including boot and turret carpet. Soon as it arrives here with me i am getting it sent off for Nweton to look at, they want to compare with the moulds they have now as a mk2 shares floorpans it seems, well the left 100% shares the smae number, the right a slightly different VW number. I also have a thread on vortex running, well a helful customer of ours does to gain over the pond interest. So hopefully we can get this moving further foward
  21. If you are splitting and still have it am interested in the carpet, drop me a pm as i dont get on here much, can arrange collection via courier too via work
  22. No it doesnt need to be plush just all there and not too expensive, I do have access to a sample but its a chap in canada i think he was and its left hand drive, ideally would like a RHD sample
  23. am still on the hunt for a good sample although its been so busy recently i havnt spent much time on it at all, (we are moving warehouse this weekend) Alot of the ones on ebay look knackered!
  24. Now got these in stock, they come with a lifetime warranty from the supplier and are £25 for the pair for both handles, less your forum discount
  25. roof gutters i have one left here, it was the last one from teh factory and im keeping as a sample in the hope to get them re made one day if we can find someone to do it, as with the mk2 roof rubbers they are not a straight forward one to manufacture
