  1. Why did they put large holes in the doors? save weight ? lol.. and put bad foam over it?
  2. Brilliant post, thanks for the info. Not sure im confident enough for a dash off job but it may sound more difficult than it is. worth a shot? Much to go wrong?
  3. That explains tough slider and re direction of air ? + poor heat? If so heater box . difficult to replace? dash off? cheers
  4. Hello everyone, Im currently having a bit of trouble with the heating in my C. Basically its an early corrado I think as its a 92. Its has the slide controls. Basically i can move all of the heater controls but the cold to hot one is very stiff when getting to hot. I am not getting freezing cold air but its barely luke warm when the car is up to temp. + only the right side of the car blowers work ? and would say its a pathetic attempt to blow air out as well. So im not sure if i have a matrix problem or just the vents are blocked? I have read a few known issues with the cables that link the heating controls but not sure how to tackle these issues. Is it a cable of the cables arent working properly and preventing heat and full control over the vents? any advise on what to check and what i need to do would be brilliant. cheers in advance
  5. sorry mate would of needed the calipers as well. Dont want to start modding my calipers and new pads. Sourced some from chaos3oe now. cheers
  6. Hi there after what's in the title. For my 16v want to upgrade the brakes. 4x100. Cheers
  7. Cheers guys, cleaned valve, new air filter, cleaned plugs and new air box hose on top of metering head valve as this had huge splits. She runs :) not sure if tune'd to perfection as not sure how to check
  8. Thanks jamiejamy, i have checked fuses, fuel pump is working can hear it priming and tested that its pumping through which it is. getting pressure to the hose that goes into the base of the metering head, loosened the top 4 and nothing, found a vac hose with a split and fixed that, getting spark and has been running but really badly, but now wont start, so i think its a blockage or sticky metering flap. Havent had another chance to look at it yet. Just want gather some ideas, so manually force fuel through by pushing the arm ok. But another other ideas ? If it is the Flap/ arm how can i fix the issue? cheers
  9. Alright lads/ladies, My names jamie and I have just purchased a corrado 2.0l 16v in gun metal grey. Bought it to bring it back to life, its been stood around for a little while and is having trouble running. So hope to fix it soon using some excellent knowledge in this community. Think its a metering head problem as no fuel getting to the top of the head and injectors. anyway just wanted to say hi. :D Jamie.
