Makes a difference to the way the car looks, the wheels only go with the car because of the all reds at the back imo

Like a dark orange, not red but not as bright orange as normal. The lights are only wrapped

Got my wheels on finally!!

Just used APC, Tardis, and normal car shampoo with various brushes to clean.

 

Then waxed with 2 coats of Collonite.

Sweet dude. Might tackle mine with some of that then and see how they come up

Cheap runabout to last a few years, a nice MK2 Golf 1.3 or a nice MK3 GTI 8v will suffice. Both available for around £600-1200. Gives you a bit of cash to get a few bits sorted etc.

When I needed a cheapo run about for a month I got a MK3 Golf VR6 for £400 with a month and half MOT - sold it on for £400 without MOT when I was done :)

Looks tasty mate! Mines metallic black, all mods are under the bonnet ;) Still need to decide if I'm keeping it haha - it's nice though... for a modern motor

Sanky,what did you use to bring the wheel arches up so clean? Thinking about tackling my arches and bay over the summer seeing as I am swapping wheels and servicing a load of engine componants :)

Will do man! I had reds on my other rado which were sprayed and they flashed red... Tint might be different

It's only a thin film so I haven't done anything at mo. I'll find out when I connect the battery when I've finished rebuilding it lol

Poo. Might try tint then daren't try spray incase I messes it up.

They're just tinted film mate, they're temporary until I get my 2nd set professionally sprayed. I can't find oem ones anywhere after 2 years of looking :(
