  1. selling these for a mate who has had the fitted to he's mk3 vr6 for approx 10 months, he is going to race he's mk3 so has had some kw v3's fitted, i'm not saying this to help the sale but he's mk3 with this suspension was much better than my corrado with my kw v1's fitted. If i was able/fit enough to swap them over then my v1's would be for sale instead. he wants £300 collected from sutton coldfield or for an extra £20 i can post, and this is how they came off the car and have not been cleaned at all. karl

  7. VR6 | Mystic Blue | Slough Price:£3100!!! Description: 1995 Corrado VR6 STORM, Mystic Blue, Manual final price reduction 21/May/12 : £3300 on Porsche Wheels £3100 on BBS Solitudes 07591 760922 History: I have owned the car since June 2007 when it was purchased with 130,000 miles on the clock. I have spent over £11,000 getting the car to where it is now (I have a comprehensive spreadsheet with every part I have bought and the price I paid). I am a member of the Corrado Club, Club GTI and have been an active member of the Corrado forums for over 5 years. A good account of what I have done can be found in my owners thread : http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?50020-Mystic-Blue-Storm-MYLene-updated-06FEB2012-%28Headlights-and-Loom%29 Please take a look through all of it for more details and photos (warning, the initial photos are quite rough and show the poor paint condition, however as you will see the car had a full "windows-out" respray in summer of 2010). I also have over 1000 more photos showing the history of the car and replacement parts etc... These can be provided on a CD/DVD to the next owner. A full arch lever file bursting with paperwork and all old mot and tax discs. Since I have owned the vehicle it has only ever been to specialists like Stealth Racing or DG Autotech. Over the last couple of years I have performed the oil and filter services myself as that is the only thing the car has needed. Soon after I purchased the vehicle in 2007, I booked it in to get the chains and tensioners replaced as well as a replacement oil pump (all for peace of mind - not because they were a problem). To cut a very long story short, the "genuine" oil pump I purchased from a very well known company (NOT Stealth Racing!) went bang shortly after I started my drive back home after collecting the car from Stealth. Car was recovered back to Stealth and the damage essentially meant the bottom end was toasted. I had this replaced and the head rebuilt and basically everything (chains and tensioners) were re-done (yes that was one VERY big bill). Ultimately I chased the other company (who supplied the faulty oil pump) through the courts and won total compensation. I have all the paperwork and invoices which fully document this. I want to stress that Vince and Stealth Racing were nothing short of brilliant throughout the whole ordeal and Vince knows my car quite well due to the history. The car unfortunately suffered a hit and run whilst parked up (which was thankfully witnessed and later traced to a Royal Mail van driver!). Damage was caused to the driver side and prompted a repair and full respray of the car. Again, please see the owner thread for all photos and further details. The car was independently valued by a Corrado Club chair member at £5000 last year and subsequently is insured under a classic car policy with an agreed value of £5000. I see no reason why this value would have changed since the valuation was provided. The car only covered 2000 miles in the last year as I have mostly been using it as a weekend car and trying to keep miles down to a minimum. The only reason I am selling this is that I am moving abroad and it will cost me too much to take the car with me. I looked into taking the car with me but it just didn’t make financial sense. I thought about having it dry stored for the next few years but quite frankly it would be a shame to do that and I am not fond of having a car sitting for so long not being driven. Therefore the time has come to part company with this car and quite frankly it is going to be emotional seeing it go... Overview: 145,941 miles as of 13/Apr/12 (Stealth Racing refurbished head on 15,000 miles and renewed block is on 95,000 miles) MOT till 15 June 2012 TAX till 30 June 2012 Fully documented history with all old MOT's and service history paperwork. Schimmel 263 cams and DG autotech remap (it made a very healthy 198.9bhp / 186 ft lb on Stealth's rolling road at the Corrado forums rolling road meet in November 2011) Magnecor Competition HT Leads (red, 8.5mm) 4 previous owners (one change is between my family members as one of my previous insurers were so stupid they made me change the V5) Full leather interior - both front seats heated and fully working Car only ever run on Shell V-Power or BP Ultimate Serviced using genuine VW parts or quality aftermarket items - all receipts and invoices provided Serviced religiously every year or 4000 miles (whichever comes sooner) with Silkolene Pro R 15W/50 Engine Oil / Silkolene PRO S 10W-50 Ester Synthetic Oil and genuine VW oil filter £3000+ Full "windows-out" respray in summer of 2009 in original LC5L "Mystic Blue Pearl" (replacing all rubber trims / window rubbers / new windscreen) New Sachs clutch last year (143950 miles) Koni Coilover Suspension - Height and Damping adjustable (1150-5002-1) New top mounts last year (less than 1000 miles ago) Stainless Steel 6 branch manifold fully heat wrapped Full Milltek Exhaust (with Milltek cat bypass) New VW/Beru coilpack last year Total closure CAT1 alarm with new fob and battery (works flawlessly) Wheels: The car is being sold with the wheels it is currently sitting on which are Porsche 928 alloy wheels (7x16 and 8x16). These have been fully refurbished and finished in dark gunmetal grey with Continental SportContact 3 195/45 R16 rubber (less than 1000 miles on them). H&R 25mm TRAK+ adaptor kit (stud and nut kit) makes changing tyres a real doddle. I also have genuine Porsche locking nuts and the key which will all be supplied as part of the set. This package alone cost me over £800 If the Porsche wheels are not wanted then I can swap the wheels to a fully refurbished set of original BBS Solitude alloys with original VW/BBS "carbon fibre" centre caps (brand new never used). They are wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 195/50 R15 82V rubber - these wheels have never seen the road! If the new owner wants both sets of alloys then the BBS solitudes will be an additional £300 on top. In Car Entertainment: The car has £1500 worth of in car entertainment installed which has been painstakingly and discreetly installed. There are no holes cut, and all wires and cables were wrapped in foam to prevent chaffing and rattles behind the dash. Quality cables and accessories mean the car has a very high fidelity stereo installed with full hands-free Bluetooth (iPhone compatible). Music can be served either via Bluetooth (from your iPhone), Apple dock connector (for iPhone / iPod) or just a regular USB stick. Alpine Alpine iDA-X305S Headunit & Alpine KCE-400BT bluetooth unit Alpine MP3 changer discreetly hidden in car (not butchered into the glove box) Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 (6 1/2”) component speakers in custom doorpods (original, unaltered doorpods will be provided to new owner) Phoenix Gold Ti500.4 amplifier MAC Audio 10" Subwoofer in carpeted box Over £100 worth of cabling and accessories continued in next post...

  9. 2.0 16v | Silver | Glasgow Price: £450 Description: Project car, or car for breaking - but sold as whole. I just don't have the time and money to do anything with it at the moment with family & work commitments. :0( Will accept sensible offers Good News:- Car has 5 months tax and 5 months MOT left on it I have some good body panels with no rust in green to go with the car - a bonnet, boot with window and spoiler, left wing and rear slam panel to replace the bit where the badge goes. (cost me around £100 for the lot) Lupo wipers have been done Sunroof and rear spoiler still work Has newer alloys that cost a couple of hundred a few years back Engine still pulls well despite milage Only a couple of previous owners (my mother in-law for the large majority of its life - not thrashed!) Late car - 1995 Battery replaced less than 6 months ago Starts first time every time Tyres OK Not so good news:- 185K miles on clock Very noisey power steering, possibly about to go Biggest thing is that body work needs doing, rust on several panels as you can see from photos - hence parts above included (Sorry had to delete thread as couldn't see a way of adding photos to a closed thread.) Oh and if you think this is a complete lost cause and I would be better cutting my losses with a scrappy please let me know!

  13. Hi, i have my spare set of speedlines from my VR6 for sale. As you can see they are quite well corroded and quite scruffy. They all have tyres with lots of tread, shown in the pics, and two hold air very well, two go down after a few days. I had these as a spare set for the track but need the space. They will make ideal refurbs, and i did have them on my car, but be sure they will need refurbing as they are tatty... if you want closer up photos let me know via PM. £20 quid for the set collected from Westbury
  14. the speakers are infinity reference 5002i's and are very good speakers for fitting in the standard door speaker position, they are used but work 100% £20 posted and got two standard vr6 flywheels, £20 posted per one

  20. VR6 | Classic pearl green | Cheshire Price: £3995 Description: Storm 1995 8 months mot 5 months tax 171,000 3 previous owners Andy Butler 07852 835722 The car was supplied to Mrs S Morgan on the 16/9/1995, it only had another owner before Alan Robinson bought it in 07/04/2000.Mr Robinson used the car on a daily basis and it was his pride and joy and truly wanted for nothing. During his ownership the vehicle had a clutch fitted, head rebuild and water pump to name but a few. The invoices over his ten year ownership add up to £10,000 and detail that the car was kept to a very high standard. The service history comprises of 16 stamps and runs right up to current day with the last servicing and work being carried out by myself. I bought the vehicle April 2010 after owning a number of other vw`s. My intentions were to use and enjoy the car but that all changed and decided to try and return the car to its factory fresh state. I started detailing the car from the bottom up and replaced/refurbishing parts as I went along. Parts I have replaced; Private plate £400 Recaro seats £500 FK konigsport coilovers £350 Heater matrix £32.40 Brake rebuild £92.57 Wiper motor £49.94 Coil pack £60.00 Aerial £18.75 Top mounts £20.64 Track/work £217.86 Battery £225.00 Bodywork and paint £1160 4 x solitudes refurb £300 Dunlop tyres £225 Jetex exhaust £250 Alpine stereo £150 Headlining £150 Sunroof £50 Powder coating £75 Front brakes/bearings £150 Grill and badge £40 On top of this I have invoices from vw for parts totalling £2000 so as you can see the car has had an amazing amount of time and money invested into it resulting in one of the most complete and detailed corrados around. Total spend for myself adds up to just shy of £5000 Time is right for me to sell the car as having a young family and other hobbies I have no time to enjoy the car. So the car is ready to roll and use for summer and includes the private plate for £3000
  21. Hi all, I have a very good condition, clean, cream headlining from a VR storm, though this would fit any model. The picture below was taken today and as you can see, it is in excellent shape. Perfect for replacing a sagging, damaged or soiled item. I would like £50 collected for this collected from Reading, Berkshire. I also have the sunroof panel. Also in great shape. I would like £20 for this, collected from Reading. Thanks for looking.
  22. Unfortunately these are up for sale due to the fact that they do not clear the Porsche brakes on my 6R Polo GTI. I am absolutely gutted about this, and now need to shift them on, as the only thing that im going to be able to get over the brakes for a reasonable amount of cash is a set of TD Pro Race 1.2. Specs: 17" x 7.5" 5x100 PCD ET35 The wheels have been refurbished at some stage with gloss grey centres and metallic silver outers. The refurbish is perfectly useable, while not 100% perfect, they are extremely well presented and the paintwork is very shiny. At the same time, all the bolts were renewed and carbon style BBS centre caps were fitted. No tyres are included with the wheels. BBS RK 504 Trial Fit by LukeDeakin, on Flickr 1 wheel has a slight mark on the outer rim as pictured here: The wheels can be paid for cash on collection from Solihull, or i can ship for £25. If you want to collect, then no paypal is available. I will accept Paypal providing courier is used. £500 Please PM me for my phone number. You can email me on: luke dot deakin at gmail dot com Any questions i am happy to ask and welcome inspection of the wheels. Picture stolen from VW Vortex. They look great on a Corrado.
  23. I have a set of hub adaptors that are no longer required. They are made by FK, 25mm thick, and adapt from 4x100 to 5x130. I had them on my car from brand new for around 7-8000 miles so they are in good condition. Complete with 4 bolts for each adaptor and a set of 20 radius(?) bolts which were used for Porsche D90 wheels. I believe these adaptors are £80 per pair new, so I was thinking £70 for the set, or £75 posted. Open to offers though. Cheers.
  24. Hi all, still clearing out my Corrado bits and bobs, I've got a fuse box cover, in decent condition if a little grubby (nothing a good clean won't sort out) and it comes with 2 brand new clips (male and female parts) - delivery and packaging will be tricky due to shape/size so is £25 delivered fair?
  25. Decided it's time for a change so my D90s are up for sale. I bought them last year and refurbed them myself. Rubbed down to bare metal, sprayed in zinc primer, then paint primer and painted in BMW sparkling graphite which I think looks awesome. Finished with a few coats of laquer. Also fitted brand new black centre caps. I'm no professional refurber but I was very pleased with how they came up. Since I refinished them, they have taken some punishment, as can be seen in the photos. It's only the outer rims which have been curbed a few times, and on one wheel its most of the way round. It shows up more because they are dark coloured. The wheels are atraight though, and generally in good condition. If I was to buy these now and didn't want to pay for a refurb, I would rub down the curbed parts and just respray them in the same colour which is available from anywhere, including Halfrauds. If you were to go the extra mile and fill the scuffs before spraying then they would look great. I also have a set of 25mm FK 4x100 to 5x112 hub adaptors so they can be fitted to a G60. All bolts needed for the adaptors and wheels are present. The wheels are 16", 8" wide on the rear and 7" front. The tires are all 195/45/16 so as to keep the same footprint all round. This gives a nice stretch on the rears too. The tires are Continental Contisports. The rears are in good condition but the fronts are no slick on the outer edges. I found them for £65 each delivered online. Looking for £375 with adaptors and bolts. Open to offers. Collection from Lancing, West Sussex. Thanks for looking.
