1. I am currently only 'considering' letting go of my beloved vr6, but I thought I'd put it on here to see if there is any interest. I can list the full spec later, but in the meantime please PM me if you want to know any more. 1993 vr6 Just about everything on the car has been replaced or rebuilt. Including a remanufactured 'vege' engine around 10k miles ago. The gearbox was rebuilt and detailed earlier this year and fitted with a new quaife differential at a cost of £2000. OBD2 Engine management conversion. Standard speedlines refurbished. Mk4 rear brakes 288 front brakes Braided hoses all round Full black leather recaro interior in excellent order. Mk4 golf heater box and controls (these work much better than the originals). Double din conversion with pioneer head unit. (I have a standard dash insert to put it back to standard if desired). Bilstein B12 suspension kit. Eibach anti roll bars Dave from the forum quickshift. Magnex stainless exhaust system. Teves 20 ABS system- massive improvement over standard. Basically almost everything has been done on this car. Drives superbly and is an excellent fast road car with the modifications it has. Bad bits Sunroof doesn't work (but have a spare mk3 golf and Corrado cassette) Has a few chips marks on the paint, but looks lovely for a 23 year old car. Often gets admired! I would be looking for around £7000 for this car as it has had many hours and a lot of money spent on it. Thanks Theo 07730 526473 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2. Selling my project car as I just don't have time to start it anymore unfortunately. Car has 190000 thousand on the clock. It's a 94 reg. it's been sat for a few years before I got hold of it. Had the timing chain and the clutch replaced 10,000 miles ago with paperwork to prove it. I've got all the original books and receipts for it going all the way back to 94. Got the original service book with very regular services stamped in it also. The car runs but would need to be recovered on a trailer as it has no MOT and isn't roadworthy. Got the original speedlines included in sale. Body work is tatty and needs touching up in several places. It has a rust spot on the roof just in front of the sun roof (glass) that has worn through the paint. The O/S/R quarter has had someone attempt a touch up on the paint but they stopped after sanding it back and it now has surface rust on it due to being exposed. The interior really is immaculate, By far the best I've yet to see in this style. I'm under no illusions what this car is worth in it's current state and I'm asking for £1300. This is the absolute minimum I will accept for her and I believe it to be a fair price for a quick sale. I'm currently waiting for the logbook back from the DVLA after sending off for a new one as the original was missing. Chassis is solid no rust what so ever underneath it. Thanks for looking https://imgur.com/gallery/KavlA I'm in St. Helens Wa110xn call me on 07874059584 (Danny)

The bodywork is in relatively good condition for its age. The only negative is that the sun roof has just stopped working, all other electrics are in good order including the electric mirrors. I am looking for £7000 OVNO No time wasters please, I am in no hurry to sell. For any more information PM me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
5. Considering selling this if anyone is looking for a tidy low mileage example. I've owned the car for approximately two and a half years. 1994 VR6 95k miles Service Feb 17 MOT Aug 17 Full respray at Heaton Coachworks (2013) Dark cloth interior, excellent condition with new genuine VW corrado embroidered mats. Bluetooth, USB and CD head unit. 16" bbs rx one piece (rare) fully refurbished with new uniroyal rainsport 3s all round. Miltek Corrado Classic stainless cat back with oval (2016) KW V1 coilovers (2015) Original speedlines fully refurbished with Kuhmo ecsta sport all round included. Magnecor blue leads, iridium plugs (2015) Winter prep and detail carried out last month. Custom Corrado fitted lined cover included. Lots more good stuff but only subtle mods made to keep original look. PM only if genuinely interested, some extras in shed, looking for circa 6k for everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
6. *** THIS CAR IS NOW SOLD *** The sad day has finally come to sell my beloved Corrado. I’ve owned it since new and it has been my only car, hence the mileage of 316K miles. It was main dealer serviced until 170K miles (Dec 2005) and since then has been serviced every 10,000 miles in a local garage. Receipts for all work carried out are included. It has an MOT until May 2017 with no advisory items. The car starts and runs well and is in great condition for its age. Apart from some minor rust around the nearside rear wheel arch and around the rear “Corrado” badge, the bodywork is in very good condition. A small scuff mark on the offside of the rear bumper exists along with some scratches on the rear spoiler. The splitter below the front bumper is also cracked. The interior is in good condition with the delivery option electric Recaro Sport Seats (cloth) still fully functioning. The upholstery is excellent with no holes or stains and both the warning triangle and first aid box are unused. No smoking has been allowed in the car. The car is original, except for the front wipers (Audi-TT upgrade), the radio, a Clifford alarm and a CAT 2 immobiliser. The upgrade to the headlight loom has also been done. A new radiator and coil pack have recently been fitted. High octane fuel has been used throughout its life in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. Negatives: • Offside front wheel bearing is noisy. • Rocker cover gasket leaks. • Sunroof doesn’t work – cable snapped. (However doesn’t leak.) • Electric mirrors don’t work – motor’s seized. • Rear spoiler doesn’t work. • Rear wiper doesn’t work. • Air blower direction control very stiff – set to windscreen. • Radio/CD player doesn’t work. • Fuse box cover missing. • Hand brake rod plastic cover is cracked. • Rear VW badge is missing. An additional set of 4 original 15” Speedline alloys are also included. However, the personalised registration is not.

8. The time has arrived to offer my pride and joy, VW Corrado G60 in Bordeaux Pearl for sale. Currently SORN'ed, just had MOT done so is ready for a new owner. MILEAGE is just over 102,000 (very low mileage for year) 1st registered in 1992 The car is in amazing condition for its age. It has MOT until mid April 2017, and I have box file that is stuffed full of receipts, including importantly, receipts for all servicing. I have had the sunroof replaced when the old one failed as well as keeping up with normal maintenance, previous owner had a new water pump, belts, tensioner bearings, etc replaced. The Corrado has been used by me as a daily driver for several years but is not currently used. The body work has no rust bubbles at all. Engine spec 1.8l G60 G werks rebuilt supercharger which has been ported and polished at 70,368 miles with certificate of proof. 68mm charger pulley Braided oil feed pipe to charger which is a must for all G60's Sns stage 2 remap Mocal remote oil cooler Shrick spilt profile camshaft with new followers (better power curve) BBM RSR outlet kit for charger VibraTechnics Engine mounts Full stainless miltek exhaust system with a G werks stainless Decat Pipe (Standard cat incl) Bosch lambda sensor Samco Vacuum hose throughout engine bay to ECU etc Uprated crank pulley bolt Engine runs absolutely amazing, no smoke or oil leaks, sounds crisp and pulls hard throughout rev range. I am looking for £3500 ono for my car and if you are interested please text/call me on 07894456499
9. 1991 VW Corrado G60. 1.8 Supercharged Tornado Red 160,000 miles MOT Feb 2017. Thinking about selling my G60. My plan was to put it off the road this winter for full restoration but a bit tight on space at the moment. Excellent little car and done nearly 20k in it over the past couple of years and has been very reliable for me. Currently has the engine out of a rare Mk2 Golf Rallye which is essentially the same, runs real sweet but uses a wee bit of oil. Stage 4 Supercharger rebuilt by Jabba 20,000 miles ago. It's runs a standard size pulley. Smaller pulley included but requires a shorter auxiliary belt to run it. Gearbox is excellent with no crunching. Underneath it has had loads of new recent parts including front subframe, wishbones, ball joints, track rods, drop links, new rear pads and discs, wheel bearings all round, Suspension top mounts, handbrake cables. drives great and tracks straight. Adjustable coilover suspension, quite firm ride. 16" Advanti SG40 alloys with 195/45's Dunlop Bluresponse all with good tread. Black cloth interior. Sunroof works as it should. Doesn't leak water and carpets are dry. Cherished registration plate G60 TST included and very much sought after. Paintwork lets it down and ideally needs a full respray as lacquer peel in places and paint is generally quite thin. It is quite bad around the windscreen frame where I painted it due to it needing some welding around the frame before fitting new windscreen. Few small dents and chips but it is a 25 year old car. Passenger door handle needs replaced. Underneath it is very solid with no crushed sills. It's far from perfect but still in very much usable condition and looks cool and turns heads. Price is what it is at £2500 so no offers and wont reply to any email offers. I wont consider selling it for any less. It's priced according to current condition. If your interested then come and see it. Reg number is worth £600 on its own. Open to swaps or part ex my way with something cool or retro. Subaru, VW, Vauxhall, Ford, Fiat, Alfa Romeo.
10. ***Exhaust now sorted!*** ***Price now lowered to £3900*** Pics now added! Although higher resolution on eBay if you want a REALLY close look at her! I'm using the app at the moment, so easier to post the eBay link! Any questions, please ask. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331915841025 Here is the advert text though for reference. won't let me upload pics on here just yet, says the files are too big. I'll add when I get chance, but the link above has pics. Get your hands on a modern classic! If you're looking at this listing then I probably don't need to fill you in on any of the details about Corrados in general, so I'll concentrate on this specific one. I have been using this as a daily driver for the past four months, and have enjoyed every minute of it! Fantastic V6 rumble, still with plenty of performance despite it's age. The engine note is nicely accentuated by a RamAir induction kit and Scorpion Performance exhaust system. The bodywork on this car is fantastic: I won't exaggerate and say it's flawless or in concourse condition, it is 22 years old after all and has associated stone chips etc. However, all the panels are straight and completely rust free! I couldn't believe the condition when I bought it, the previous two that I'd viewed were far worse (holes in wings etc.) It could easily pass for less than ten years old. Mechanically the car is sound. It has just had it's MOT, which doesn't expire until July 2017. I spent over £1000 to get it through: full service with oil and filter change; four brand new tyres (Avon ZV5's); 6 new metal brake pipes on the rear brakes, with nearside and offside flexible hoses (4 in total); new outer CV Boot kit to offside front wheel; welding to nearside front floor section (water was ingressing into the passenger footwell area - now completely welded and sealed); rear brake actuator replaced. The interior is in good condition as well. This car has a full black leather interior, obviously there is some wear to it but there are no tears/rips/wearthrough to the seat bolsters etc. The only thing of note is a small piercing to the passenger seat, looks like someone has dropped a knife/screwdriver/compass point and pierced a slight hole in it. Not particularly noticeable though. Good points: - Still has it's original Service Book with all service stamps since 1994 in it! - Plenty of documentation with work done over the years. - Full Closure Clifford alarm/immobiliser fitted. - Rear spoiler rises and falls as it should (at 55-60mph). - Sunroof tilts open. - Original Speedline alloy wheels still fitted. - Bodywork in excellent condition. - Two keys for the car. - All work carried out on it above! Bad points: - Sunroof doesn't slide open. Common fault, new motor required but I never got round to it. - Exhaust is blowing slightly: there is a hairline crack to the centre section, I will aim to have this welded before sale, but I'm willing to negotiate accordingly if it hasn't been done. - MOT advisory that there was a slight seepage of power steering fluid - I have fixed this with a power steering additive, but appreciate that some people may want to go the whole hog and replace the rack. - There was an advisory for a slight oil leak as well: this appears to be where the sump plug had scraped the ground though and it had scored the corner of the plug. Since the MOT I have re-drained the oil and had a new sump plug fitted, this seems to have done the trick. However, worthy of mention. There is a Panasonic DAB/CD/iPod head unit fitted currently, I will probably remove this prior to sale but am willing to leave it in for £100. The car has been lightly modified from standard by previous owners (induction kit and exhaust mentioned above), it has coilover suspension and has been lowered slightly from standard, Samco hoses have replaced the originals under the bonnet. I bought this car on a whim in late March of this year to be honest, and am only selling as I want something more modern. As stated, I have been using it as a daily driver and it's probably not realistic to expect a car of this age to be doing so. The money spent on it for MOT brought home to me that I am no mechanic! All of these were relatively easily fixable things that anyone with basic skills could do themselves for a fraction of the cost - I am not mechanically minded and would always have to take it in to a garage! In an ideal world I would keep it as a second/weekend car, unfortunately I can't afford to so am reluctantly selling it. I always wanted one, so am glad that I have, even if only for a relatively short period of time. It was always my intention to sell it after approximately 6 months anyway. All in, the car probably owes me just over £5000, but I am realistic to know that I won't get back all money spent, so I think £4500 is a fair price all in. I am open to offers of course, but nothing ridiculous. Check out the prices of other VR6's on Autotrader! Frightening stuff... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
11. **NOW SOLD** 92 VR6 Corrado - £3300 Hi, As some of you are aware from one of my threads - I am emigrating to Australia. After much deliberation, I have decided to sell my Corrado, rather than lock it away or try and ship it across. Mileage: 120300 Colour: Green Pearl (LC6V) Engine: VR6 MOT: 21st February 2017 I have owned the for 18 months and have used it just at weekends. Since ownership, I have had the following done: New Alternator (fitted last week) Brakes, discs and pads all round and calliper refurb New wheel bearings all round Two new tyres (due to punctures) other two have plenty of tread New Battery New Starter Motor New Cat 1 Toad Ai606 full enclosure alarm Last serviced in June BMC CDA Filter Alpine SWE -815 8" Sub Front door speakers: Alpine SXE-4625S 4x6" Rear speakers: Infinity Kappa 52.9i 5.25" Alpine CDE 173BT headunit Phase IPX1004 amplifier The wheels could do with a refurb at some stage, as they are the original Speedines but this haven't bothered me since owning the car and there are some age related marks on the body, as expected for a 24 year old car. Private plate not included in sale of care - now back on original plates (K45 FVO) Please feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks, Chris

13. Time to take a run at this. For sale is my 1995 Corrado VR6 in Classic Green. I've owned this car now for about 7 years, and honestly didn't think I'd ever sell having finally worked my way to a VR6.. but having owned 4 of these cars now over the last 15 years I'm starting to yearn to move on to something else, and unfortunately there's only room for one car in the garage so my Corrado has to go. It's got approx. 201,500 miles on the clock and an *extremely* comprehensive service history, and a pile of reciepts an inch thick - with literally thousands and thousands of pounds spent in the time I've owned it. Factor in my original purchase price and the work I've had done over the years and I think my total outlay is something insane like £15,000. In the last two years years, work undertaken includes: * Complete engine rebuild undertaken by Stealth Racing - full top and bottom end rebuild, replacement of timing chains & tensioners, mildly overbored bottom end with new Mahle pistons, all gaskets and seals replaced. New fuel pump fitted. (£4000). New VAG engine wiring loom installed. Head gasket replaced. New 'crack pipe' installed. New oil pump, new water pump. * Full 'Roose Motorsport' silicone hose set in black (trying to retain a bit more of an OE look!) installed. * Refurbished injectors. * AP coilover suspension installed, including new top mounts & bearings front and rear (£400) * Heater matrix replaced with new OE replacement * Refurbished original Speedline alloy wheels and new tyres. * New radiator and auxiliary water pump. * Front Wheel bearings replaced with genuine VW parts. * New bonnet cable installed. Additional highlights include Eibach Antiroll Bars, 288mm brakes, a good condition leak free genuine VW exhaust system (now obsolete), powdercoated / refurbished subframe and crossmembers. Engine pulls nice and smooth and despite the mileage the gearbox is also very smooth / quiet and crunch free. Audi TT windscreen wipers replace the well known abysmal standard Corrado items. Car benefits from a high quality CAT1 alarm and immobiliser system - installation certificate for this is provided. Interior is in very good overall condition - comes with first aid kit and original tool kit / jack / spare wheel in the boot. There are countless other jobs I've undertaken. Electrically everything works - heaters, spoiler, mirrors, sunroof, stereo, etc. Weak spot and the reason for the low price is the body work which is probably below average. Passenger front wing is bubbling up with rust, front end is stonechipped, most panels have some marks / scuffs on them, and rust is needing attention on the sill on the passenger rear wheel arch. Think there is a bit of rust lurking around the filler cap flap area too. It still polishes up and looks beautiful from a small distance, but doesn't stand up to scrutiny up close! Spend a 1-2 thousand on bodywork and this car would be as good as any other Corrado out there. Additionally since the replacement fuel pump, the fuel level sender is reading lower than it actually is. This simply needs adjusting (I guess the new fuel pump housing is a different size to the old one). I just undertook a 170 mile round trip this weekend and the car returned up to 37MPG according to the trip computer! It's extremely hard to know where to price the car but I think given the mountain of work that's been done and the value of some parts fitted, £2500 is where I want to be. MOT is until June 2017. I also have a random assortment of spares and bits I've accumulated over the years of Corrado ownership for various models I'd throw in if the asking price is met. Value of those must easily be a £200+ (refurbished BBS solitude wheel with nearly new tyre, black parcel shelf, etc etc). Gallery of pictures now available here: http://imgur.com/a/bPT7Y
14. Just putting feelers out there folks, the G-lader will be for sale. Unfortunately my wedding, honeymoon and funding my pilots license need extra funds. It's near mint, cloth interior, has had charger serviced by Jabba when I bought it 2 years ago along with cam belt, full stainless supersprint exhaust and eibach 20mm lowering springs just to make it look and handle better have got original springs. Have got every MOT since 94 to prove mileage and have all log/service books etc etc. Been garaged its whole life, owned for the majority of its life by a lovely old chap named Howard who I bought it off and it was also garaged. I've serviced it fully myself since having it coolant change oil change plugs K&N filter and I'm going to do the brakes soon, as I've bought some braided hoses so I will for them on. I've fitted new engine sound deadening. All electrics work perfectly no faults anywhere including sunroof tilt and slide. No rust. The only downside is the rubber roof trims are cracking. I will buy some off Karmanski when the clips become available so that may well be sorted too. If anyone wants to in a way reserve it or ask any questions, fire away. Would ideally like it to go to someone who will look after her and not use as a daily. It is a regrettable sale. Will probably put it up for about 11kONO what do you guys think? Thanks Joe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
15. 122k, full service history, 2 owners, lowered on Koni Coilovers, huge pile of receipts of work done previously, the previous owner spent a fortune on it . New cambelt done last month, rear brake caliper etc... with receipt. I'm machine polishing it ATM so will take better pics tomorrow. Location, Slough. Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
16. Hi everyone. The time has come to sale my Corrado that I have had for about 18 months. I love the thing but with a mk1 golf and a mk2 that's almost finished I have to free up some cash. It will be up for sale in the next week or 2 so thought I would test the waters and get the ball rolling. This has not had any expense spared in the time I have owned it and the guy I bought it off used it as a sunny day car. Engine spec, - Dyno at 187bhp at the wheels, I think I still have the print out but need to go through the paperwork to check. - Supercharge done to a stage 5 by Gwerks. Still pulling strong - 68 mm pulley and chip - Billet fuel rail - Mocal oil cooler - BBM RSR outlet - 315cc fuel injectors - SWG Twin air intake - Full Stainless exhaust, Decat and 4 branch manifold - Coilovers but these are seized last time I looked. - Mileage is around 140k but this will rise as I am using it still until my new daily arrives. - Has alarm and imoboliser fitted with remote start. Interior has Vibe speakers and a good condition cloth interior. Drivers side is heated and the passenger side doesn't seem to work but as I'm never sat there it's never bothered me! Windows and sunroof are electric. I've just had the heater matrix replaced with a mk3 spec one so no need to worry about that. It currently has a set of schmidt modern lines in a 7.5 and 9j fitments. These were polished but need doing again. I can include these for the right deal. Bad bits as all cars have them and I like to be honest about my cars. The spoiler only works on the button, something that never really bothered me as I dislike them anyway. The materail on the sunroof has started to hang down, I haven't had a chance to get my guy to have a look at it yet. Sun roof only works on tilt, again something that has never bothered me. That's all I can think of for the moment but will add more to it when I get closer to letting it go in a week or 2. Any questions then fire them over and I will get back to you asap. Will also add more photos over the weekend when I'm not at work. Cheers

For sale, my 1996 'N' Corrado VR6 in Classic Green Pearl, with full original black heated leather interior. ** MOT carried out last week, so almost 12 months MOT remaining ** 139k miles. 3 former keepers. HPI clear. I've owned this car for 10 years! Corrado Club member. The previous owner had it featured in the Corrado Club magazine (I have a copy of it somewhere!) and then emigrated to Canada. Driven carefully, in regular use, I've averaged 6K a year of motorway commuting/weekend runs, but in the last 3 years I've only done about 2k per year. It drives beautifully, smooth and powerful. My previous cars - a Corrado G60, and before that a mk2 GTi, so i've been a VW enthusiast for nearly 20 years now. It has wanted for nothing mechanically. I've modified little, maintaining it to a high standard and keeping it clean & waxed. Only ever hand washed in my ownership using Swissvax products & carnauba wax. Lots of VAG service history/VW specialist history from previous owners. 12 stamps in the service book - 7 years of main dealer servicing, then 4 years of Autowerke & Star performance Regular services - 1996 10,500 miles Volkswagen Barnsley 1997 21,041 miles Volkswagen Barnsley 1998 38,443 miles Volkswagen Barnsley 1999 49,324 miles Volkswagen Mansfield 2000 51,705 miles Volkswagen Mansfield 2001 55,452 miles Volkswagen Mansfield 2002 59,574 miles Volkswagen Mansfield 2003 70,360 miles Autowerke (Bosch) Performance Car centre 2004 75,515 miles Autowerke (Bosch) Performance Car centre 2005 77,969 miles Autowerke (Bosch) Performance Car centre 2006 87,715 miles Star Performance Ltd 2007 96,236 miles (Self serviced, Silkolene 10w/50 Full Synthetic oil, VAG filter.) 2008 106,913 miles (Self serviced, Silkolene 10w/50 Full Synthetic oil, VAG filter.) 2009 109,200 miles (Self serviced, Silkolene 10w/50 Full Synthetic oil, VAG filter.) 2010 121,000 miles (Self serviced, VW Spec Quantum Synta Oil, VAG filter.) 2012 127,000 miles (Self serviced, VW Spec Quantum Synta Oil, VAG filter.) 2013 134,010 miles (Self serviced, VW Spec Quantum Synta Oil, VAG filter.) 2014 136,000 miles (Self serviced, VW Spec Quantum Synta Oil, VAG filter.) 2016 pending parts (Self serviced, VW Spec Quantum Synta Oil, VAG filter.) I've spent hundreds of hours maintaining it, using the best parts and never rushing a job. Lots of work done in the last 10k miles, with thick folder of receipts for work done and parts purchased. Yearly oil and filter changes (Genuine oil filter & Synta Silver semi-synthetic oil) All other service items carried out to book schedule (Air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, brake fluid changes etc.) Sunroof tilts & slides perfectly. Electric rear spoiler fully operational, raises/lowers automatically and via. a manual switch. Electric windows, electric mirror adjustment and heated glass all fully working. Reason for Sale - An ever expanding family (recent second baby) and a long term house renovation project - ideally now I need an old estate car - I could keep the Corrado for weekends but I think the time has come for someone else with a bit more time on their hands to cherish this Corrado and keep it going for many decades more. I don't want to (and won't) sell it to some idiot who will ruin it - my previous cars (Mk2 GTi, Corrado G60) both went to very good homes and I want the same for this one. Minor faults - Heater fan only working on speed 4. Slight rust patch to rear arch lips, and rust bubbling around part of filler flap area. Alloys ideally require a refurb. (I have brand new BBS polished alloy centre caps to go with these! included in the sale. Minor scratch on roof, and a small one on rear panel just below tailgate lock. Bonnet release handle needs pulling further past it's stop to pop the bonnet- may need adjustment/repair. Spare parts available - New VAG roof trims, pair. I have had this about 18 months and ideally would like to keep it. But, a new car order means i need my garage back. Its an honest car with stacks of history, including all but 1 mot certificate. It is 22 years old though, so isn't perfect. The sunroof doesn't work-broken mechanism and nor does the abs-not sure why, but is more serious than just a wheel sensor. The bodywork is acceptable, but would benefit from a respray long term, over the years it has obviously had a few minor repairs. There is an area of rust on the rear wheel arch that will need attention sooner rather than later though as it has cracked the paint. I haven't stripped it back yet, but it looks to me like it may need fresh metal welding in. It also has a battety drain, i'm 99% certain, through some fault finding i have done that its the electric window module which is at fault. The car has never let me down though and pretty much flew through its last mot, next one due in november. Over the winter i spent £700ish on various new front end parts, including all new bushes/drop links etc, front calipers and hoses, front tyres, engine mounts and front wheel bearings. I would describe this as a good useable project. I'm sure if i write loads, i'll still miss something. So, if anyone is interested then message me and I'll answer as best i can. I'm totally honest with any faults and judging the condition of the car. I do have the option to keep it in another garage. But, if it goes in there, it may never come out! As its not close to my home and my work schedule means i'll never have time to go over it, thats why i'm advertising it. Ideally i want it to go to an enthusiast that will continue to work on it as i have started to. I'm just outside of Peterborough and i want £2500. Any feedback good or bad is welcomed. 22. Hello there! As I have often found with Corrado owners - I cannot speak for any other affiliations or tribes - many of these adverts start much the same: A cathartic emphasis on the truly cherished relationship of the car and owner. Well, this is not much different in that respect, but i’ll do away with the father/son sentiment, save it for my biography, and make the waffle really quick: It was my favourite car growing up, and as soon as i entered into my 20's and learnt to drive responsibly i purchased the Corrado i am advertising today. I have owned this car for 9 years, and it has only got better. Honestly! Exterior: All changes from stock are tasteful and few: About 5 years ago I had her resprayed, and i do own a car 'bra' that i attach to the front before any lengthy drive - e.g. Worthing to Brighton - so the paint - especially for the colour type - is still good, and the combination of red; w/silver alloys; black trim; and low stance seems to resonate with people. It always, without fail, turns heads and it receives positive sounds of bombast and praise everywhere we go. More so than a new sports car, people of all class and creed seem to really rally behind it. That being said, the paint does have some small chips, marks and scratches and is not perfect. There is very little rust, but two patches are evident below the rear window, which was treated and doesn't seem to have grown in the last 5 years, as well as the drivers window under the rubber lining - I assume its a rust spot it’s been there prior to my ownership and hasn't got bigger/caused any concern. Aesthetically the exterior looks great. The alloys are plus 1 inch above standard - but due to tyre size adjustments there is no arch rubbing, so not to worry. The rear lights have been replaced with more splendid 'lexus' style rear lights in line with my tasteful upgrades, and currently attached are the fancy, metal "Jung VW" licence plates. The front grill is de-badged. The spoiler works as it should. Great news! To the inside: The seats and dash et al. are in very good condition. The seats have been covered for several years, and i don’t really let people in the back. There are no holes, burns, rips, scratches, but the drivers left side bolster has recently sagged - it isn’t really noticeable. Both windows are electric. Installed is a Philips DAB/CD player and the rear shelf speakers have been tastefully upgraded. The front window was upgraded when i replaced it and now includes a sun visor at the top. The engine/The drive: Its note is sublime, in part due to the exhaust system that i had fitted two years ago. It looks standard, but the tailpipe has some riveting that produces a great tone - no noisier than standard, just a slight gurgle/growl. She still pulls very well - keeping up with much newer cars, although my default position is ambling in the slow lane. Like its legend the handling is faultless, even though this one was lowered by a previous owner - this is often a note of caution, but the low stance and the work to achieve it has never caused an issue. She handles the corners markedly well, posturing flat to the floor. I fitted an aftermarket K&N filter - the difference is negligible, but supposedly better - and the camber/tracking was re-calibrated last year. Mechanical works worthy of note in recent years are: the head gasket, which was replaced 3 years ago, with the plugs changed also; the radiator and fan; and exhaust system - but i have a folder full of its history and the list is extensive. The engine bay looks very good for its age, not concourse of course, but industrial chic! I have colour combined some of the parts and well, it just looks good - not inflicted with the appearance of malaise or out-puffed - some engines seem to give the impression of perpetual exhaustion, but this is a finely oiled machine! Needing Attention: The sunroof needs a slider mechanism replaced. I bought a new motor for it some 4 years ago which will be included, but it is the slider that needs replacing. Heater only works on 3 and 4, it needs a new matrix but costs very little. Central locking is inconsistent. Added bits: TT wipers Car Bra Original lights Original licence plates Sunroof motor Seat Covers Original front grill DAB/CD player plus a box full of spare bits and bobs: wiper blades; petrol caps; wheel nuts; water cap; petrol canister etc. Notes: Owned for 9 years, 6 previous owners - i purchased it off an engineer. 144000 miles Only driven in the summer months and garage locked over winter and most nights. Classic car insurance: only £87 for the year fully comp! No crashes - clean licence Best MPG: 31.8 £2900 ono. (please message for more photos/info - i haven't been able to upload many of the better pictures)
23. 1992 VW Corrado G60. MOT until August 2016. Full service history including every MOT certificate from 1995. Super charger modified by JabbaSport to stage 4 and fitted with a 68mm pulley along with a chip kit in 2000. The supercharger was last serviced in 2012. A jabbasport induction kit was fitted at the same time. Jabbasport also fitted a Milltek exhaust and a cat by pass. Jabbasport also gas flowed the head in 2001. The car is fitted with 17" Azev wheels and has recently had new tyres fitted. The suspension has been upgraded with koni shocks and Eibach springs. The cam belt was replaced in 2012 by Jabbasport when the milage was 144000,it has now done 147000 miles. The car has recently had new brakes and a new battery. The rear spoiler rises and retracts and the sunroof works, tilt and slide. The electric mirrors work as does the windows although I'm waiting for a replacement switch for the passenger side as its a bit temperamental. The hot air blower does not currently work but I am hoping to resolve this with a replacement blower. The central locking works on the doors and boot but not on the fuel flap. There appears to be some parts missing from the locking device. Also, when unlocking the doors the central locking pump runs on a bit and there appears to be an air leak in the passenger door as you can hear air hissing from it. Could be a simple fix? The seats look like they have been re-trimmed and are now half grey leather. For some reason,to start the car you turn the ignition key and then press a button! Not my cup of tea and it was on the list of things to change. I bought the car recently as a driveable project but have now bought a T4 van that I'm looking to convert. £3000 ono. The car is in Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY3, which is about 30 miles west of Birmingham.
