julesz 0 Posted October 8, 2004 Hey all. I need my rear axel bushes (and bump stops) replacing. Can these be replaced with powerflex ones and is it worth it? Thanks J
Henny 0 Posted October 8, 2004 they can be replaced with powerflex (or similar) poly bushes, but you will loose the passive rear steering effect that the Corrado has when fitted with OE bushes... General consensus on the forum is that the VAG bushes last for around 10 years anyway and allow the rear steer, so why upgrade? 8)
dr_mat 0 Posted October 8, 2004 And who's this "Axel Bushes"? Sounds like a cross between an 80's tv star and a US president. On that basis alone he's got to be worth voting for... ;)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 8, 2004 I wondered when you'd pick him up on his spelling  All you've done there is paint a picture of a Black president running around Beverly Hills with a gun.....and Harold Faltimeyer banging away on his keyboard in the background  And back on Topic, agreed, stick with OE rubber.....
