Has anybody got an upper front strut brace

What car is it for? (don't say Corrado!! I mean, 2L16v VR?? :wink: )

I know that for SOME C's you can fit a Golf brace on there, but on others the engine fouls it and it needs an extra few bends in it.

I've seen a few with the brace on though, so there are some about...

Its a G60. I spoke to Trimsport yesterday who dont produce any at the moment. General feeling is that there is very little space under the bonnet for it to fit!!

 

The rear golf 2 fits the corrado no probs, its just getting one for the front that is proving a pain in the arse!

you mean like this one!!

D&W do them for the Corrado, the back is standard and i've got one of them too!! the front one on mine is a LHD version

the RHD version would be different cos the master cylinder is on the other side, Mine is a three piece one and made up from the bar and two mount plates that fit round the top mounts.

 

You can also get lower ones to, Nuespeed do them.

i tried to fit a golf eibach front brace to my g60 but for some reason it hit the bonnet when i tried to close it. :(

yeah thats what ive heard - big problems with clearance

I have seen an eibach bar fitted to a vr though so maybe the later style bonnet has more clearance.

the neuspeed comes black but is easy enough to run a coat of paint over. mine is yellow right now.. might go with black or silver or something to match the car better...

i think awesome gti deal with D&W,well they sell there catalogues,i seen some strut braces on the dubweiser stand at inters for the corrado
