Which brake fluid should i use ?

I'm just replacing my flexible brake hose's and just about all the steel pipe's and fitting some Goodridge braided brake hose (bought from GSF) ,and i'm just wondering which is the best fluid to use ?

I've seen some Castrol perfomance fuid but it's synthetic will that be okay or have you got any other sugestion's :roll:

Halfords sell DOT 5.1 for about £8 for about a litre.

 

It's bottled as 'high performance' fluid.

 

yup, in a nice black bottle with orange writing on it IIRC... (guess what's in mine at the moment! :lol: )

are the pressure bleed kits ok to use with the rado brakes (non abs) as i have a big bottle of the black and orange stuff too :D ready to replace all the fluid

how much brake fluid do you need? and what are the best method for bleeding and replacing brakes, brake hoses for 2L 16v??? any quick instructions??? cheers
