h100vw 0 Posted November 22, 2004 Pull injector, replace O ring, refit. A bit of WD works ok for lubrication. I can recommend the snap on tool for the job, although with your metal work skills you can probably make one the same for a few pennies. theRuler 0 Posted November 22, 2004 its easyish i had the injectors in and out of my 16 valve mk2 golf a few times. they are tight though. what i would do, was clip a set of mole grips to the hex part of the injector (dont pull em by the pipe!!!) and rest the mole grip handle against the inlet manifold in such a way that it would act as a level. a smack onto the handle would pull the injector sharply and free it. (use your hand to smack it, thus regulating force) to refit i'd put them in place, then with a long screw driver and a hammer, tap them in. the o rings should come out with the injectors.
