Fuse for E/mirrors - where is it????

Recommended Posts

I've lost power to my electric mirror loom (probably fused it while faffin about trying to get late spec switch working on early spec car)

i've checked all the normal fuses (1-21?) behind the dash trim and they are all ok, but I'm definately not getting power to the brown wire in the E/M loom.

is there an auxilary fuse panel somewhere? I borrowed a live feed from the Electric Windows and the mirror motors are still working ok.

I cannot see any extra fuses above the fusebox at all, just relays and a few unused loom connections, any ideas?

Yash, how big is this fuse and what model/year is your C?

I cant find my Owners manual since I moved house either - it probably shows it in there!

cheers

have a look above the relays, my c is a 1990, its just a standard blade fuse, if its not there then check for blown fuses in the fuse box.

My owners manual didnt show the mirror fuse as being above the fuse box.

Does anything else run off you e/mirror fuse?

when the fuse went for my mirrors the central locking also stopped working, same loom in my car for some reason.

No its not on the fuse box, it sits just on top of it, its on its own llom.
