rado-steve 0 Posted March 20, 2005 Got this the other week, Just to stop racking up miles on the C, plus 2nd car for when mine goes to get it motor sorted and a respray! It's a Golf GTD! Fairly rare beasty, princely sum of £400 with 12 months T&T. Even if I keep it a year and flog it on I'll still get £400 for it! Could do with some alloys and lowrering...........noooooo the modifying bug has bit already :)

rado-steve 0 Posted March 22, 2005 I think 15" steelies would look kinda cool! There were some on ebay a week or so ago, but went for over £120!!!! Can you still get them at the stealers???? NG- Does about 50mpg..........Don't think a stainless will make a diesel sound any any better though :)
biggrim 0 Posted March 22, 2005 Still available at the stealers. IIRC, around £35 ish each (not sure if inc or plus VAT). Need to get another one for mine actually as I need a spare. If you're after the part numbers, give me a shout.

biggrim 0 Posted March 24, 2005 Righto, as promised, The black plastic centre caps... 871 601 171 G60 Steel Wheel ... either 357 601 025M (located on the centre of the wheel near the bolt holes) or 439 291 511 (which is on the rim). I think it'll most likely be the first one matey but check just to be sure. THe wheels are ET35 and 6J wide (I think). Cheers
