moneypit23 0 Posted March 31, 2005 Hello, i'm currently doing a 'critique of a typical modern vehicle' project for one of my modules at uni and a lot of calculations rely on knowing where the centre of gravity is. I've so far calculated it to be 1.53m from the rear axle but i don't know the height. I can work it out by weighing the mass on the front axle and jacking up the rear and calculating the change but i don't really have the time. So if anybody has a rough idea of this magical number could they please let me know..... Thanks
Henny 0 Posted March 31, 2005 the center of gravity on a reasonable handling car like a corrado should be pretty much where the driver's arse is within the car... ;) (although in the middle of the car)
moneypit23 0 Posted March 31, 2005 Good point, i might draw a schematic diagram of me in the car and draw an arrow pointing to my a$$ bone!
