Rear Sunblind

Found one of these for sale.

 

Allegedly from a G60.

 

Looks a little suspect to me, almost as though it's upsidedown.

The support straps would lead me to believe differently though.

 

What do you think?

Yes it does look upside down to me too.

 

It's quite difficult to get the straps out - there's a conical non-return connector and if you try to force it out it will enlarge the hole. Cut them off and fit new ones, they are quite cheap.

does look a bit odd, could it be a stealth shelf? I'm sure you could get a blind from halfarts or somewhere like that and screw it on, which TBH looks like what this guys done!

 

as for it being upsidedown, I think hes actually holding one of the hinge things that clips the shelf into the boot meaning it'd be the right way up! how strange!

it's a standard shelf that someone's added an aftermarket sunblind to the top of... :roll:

I'm with the Hennmiester....it looks like a standard Shelf to me....with a Halfrauds blind stuck to it.

It's exactly the same shape as mine (apart from the colour and the sun blind!!) :roll: :wink:

chrishill, that's standard mate... all 4 of my parcel shelves look like that... (2 have bloody big hole in 'em though... :roll: )
