Moonie 0 Posted May 25, 2005 Hello peeps.. Whilst out on a little drive i went round the roundabout and the arse end of my car starting to slide out ! I was showing a litle Clio who's boss at the time and i think he may have got a bit scared too !! Now i'm no car genius but that strikes me as being a bit much for a FWD. I wasnt doing excessive speed ( 40mph tops ), do u think i need to uprate or is there something that may need fixing... ?? Thanks :)

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 25, 2005 Is he Axel Foley's brother? Could be the bushes, or perhaps more likely....worn tyres or shocks...or both.

gibber 0 Posted May 25, 2005 Cold tires, bad road surface, and maybe a bit of bad driving!
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 25, 2005 Probably a pinch of diesel thrown in for good measure too....
Henny 0 Posted May 25, 2005 as above... worth getting your rear axle bushes checked out though and DEFINATELY check your tyre pressures as something that simple can make a hell of a difference to the handling of your car... ;)
Moonie 0 Posted May 25, 2005 Thanks for your replies, most helpful :D Have checked the tyre pressures and all seems ok there, going to check bushes, shocks etc over the weekend when im not working. As for the bad driving Gibber there was none of that i assure you, roundabouts aren't generally that hard to navigate  Anyway thanks again one and all :)
