PurpRado 0 Posted August 29, 2005 so if I disconnect it and it runs fine that is the problem or do I just test it with a multimeter
flusted 0 Posted August 29, 2005 The throttle switch only controls the isv so shouldnt make any difference to power
bcstudent 0 Posted August 29, 2005 The closed throttle switch definitely affects power on the 9A. If you open the throttle and press the switch it causes the engine to lose power and surge. What's different about how the 9A and the KR closed throttle switches work?
MillSpeed 0 Posted August 30, 2005 Disconnecting the throttle switch has defo done something to the ECU. The only explanation I can think of is that perhaps it was tricking the ECU into thinking that the throttle was closed hence its reluctance to advance the ignition when the car was revved.
