stooby doo 0 Posted August 16, 2005 Hi guys, I've noticed that under braking from speed, i.e. coming off the motorway onto the slip road, my steering wheel is juddering a lot. It doesn't have to be heavy braking - pedal to the floor - it is apparent under gentle braking, but always from speed. I was thinking it could be warped discs but would it not judder all the time, braking at low speed, if that was the case ? Any ideas what else it could be ? Supercharged 2 Posted August 16, 2005 Most likely warn or warped disks but could also be caused be wheel allignment, tracking, wheel unbalance etc...
NickVR6 0 Posted August 17, 2005 I have this intermitently! I have new WBs, full alignment just done and wheels balanced and its done it on 3 diff sets of wheels. I am as usual perplexed
Dutch24V 0 Posted August 17, 2005 I would imagine warped discs for sure. I know for a fact mine are warped slightly and I have the same issue. At low speed it is not as noticable as hard breaking from speed mind. Dutch
coolrado 0 Posted August 17, 2005 i recently had a problem where the brakes where juddering when braking from high speed but wasnt really noticeable at lower speeds, it turned out to be a badly cracked disk
