Neil VR6 0 Posted August 25, 2005 Righto. Just thought, you might struggle to get peeps from this forum at the Pod on the 4th as that's the Edition38 show weekend. Something to bear in mind perhaps. :)

tflpunk 0 Posted August 25, 2005 16.03 @ Santa Pod :?: What on earth do Corrados weigh?
Spykee 0 Posted August 25, 2005 i think the G60 is 1240kg or something like that Alex
Dan Patten 0 Posted August 25, 2005 I thought they were lighter than that - It's that mainly body or is there alot of weight in the car (in my case it's the driver  ) that can be got rid of? If anyones interested the thread on CRX UK for the Pod / 1/4 day is http://board.hondacrx.co.uk/phpBB2/view ... hp?t=31972
Neil VR6 0 Posted August 25, 2005 16.03 @ Santa Pod :?: What on earth do Corrados weigh? That was my first time at the 'Pod. I could list out a load of excuses but suffice it to say the car has been worked on a bit in terms of getting it's power up to what it should be. Also, next time I go up I'm going to take the spare wheel out the back along with the 12 inch boxed sub! (And run the front tyres at less than 2.6 bar!) Live and learn :)
Dan Patten 0 Posted August 26, 2005 Also warming up the tyres before you get to the line is a good idea - Took me about 4 runs to realise this
davidwort 0 Posted August 26, 2005 i think the G60 is 1240kg or something like that Alex Corrado's varied from 1100kg for an early 1800 16v up to about 1250kg for a vr6, possibly more depending on options. The G60's were roughly in between that, just below 1150kg. In comparison a stripped out mk1 golf can be well under 750kg and a fully kitted out mk2 only about 900kg. A 1988 CRX weighs just over 800kg. David.
Neil VR6 0 Posted August 30, 2005 I'm definitely going to Santa Pod this Sunday (4th). Anybody else going? (I know it's an outside chance as it's the E38 weekend.)
