Passat V6 Synchro or Passat V6 4MOTION ?

Hey all,

 

Am considering getting a Passat B5 as my daily driver. Seem to remember reading somewhere that the synchro drivetrain had reliability or some other issues in the Passat and that the 4MOTION was far better ? Does anyone have an opinion, have any information or know about these models ?

I thought all four wheel drive Passats were equipped with the 4MOTION

Have you seen the price of Passat W8's! 2years old with 20-30k miles, less that £10K.

Tell me where I can find a W8 for that money and I'll buy it, not seen one for less than 14.5k but even that is seriously good value

Just scanned autotrader again but the £9995 one i saw isn't there anymore but theres one at £13,200
