MoonlightVR 0 Posted August 27, 2005 Gone to a good home 8) Look fantastic mate, fill out the wheels perfectly. No clearance issues with the RHs then? How do you find the braking now? Impressed with the improvements?

Pau1 0 Posted August 28, 2005 Sorry for being a bit off topic but where did you get the Porsche centers for your RH's? I've found some on ebay.de but they look like stickers. Yours look spot on.

dinkus 10 Posted August 28, 2005 Ah cool, nice one 8) Don't suppose you could tell me what size carrier -> hub bolts and washers you needed to make the callipers fit could you? :)
24V Renshaw 0 Posted August 28, 2005 Come on dinkus, how many times are you going to ask! :) 312 Carriers 40mm M12x1.5 Bolts 6mm washers Now get them on! :)

Mike Edwards 0 Posted August 30, 2005 Make sure they're high tensile steel bolts...
dinkus 10 Posted August 30, 2005 Heh heh yeah, and stainless washers. Don't want your callipers going astray when you stamp on the stop pedal :?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 1, 2005 Nice one. I wanted those Porker caps when I had my Zed dubs too but couldn't find them! I'm just waiting to kill off my 288 discs and then I'm going for it.
StormchargedVR6 0 Posted September 2, 2005 These are the spacers & bolts to use :) Better then the washers
Mike Edwards 0 Posted September 4, 2005 Nice! Where do you get those and how much are they?
StormchargedVR6 0 Posted September 5, 2005 http://www.ecstuning.com you could make them :)
dinkus 10 Posted September 5, 2005 http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pag ... nmore.html Apparently - so $50 plus postage, plus tax if you get caught by customs :? ...calling daves16v...
Taggart 0 Posted September 5, 2005 Hehe, now where is that fella when we need him... Think fifty bucks is a bit harsh maybe?
dinkus 10 Posted September 5, 2005 Seems a bit excessive to me. I'm gonna just go with the 3x2mm washers I bought today for now and if Dave can fashion up some stainless braket thingies then I can always swap them on at a later date. Now I just need to find the bolts...
Mike Edwards 0 Posted September 5, 2005 Any engineering supplies firm that sells small quantities will be able to help you out. Ask for Allen key bolts as they all come in high tensile steel. On reflection those plates might not fit due to the way the caliper carrier is machined.
