New Shiny Thing For Me

so basically i bought this backbox right, gonna get it shined up nicely too.

are these relatively easy to fit and what should i look out for.

spoke to a mate and he talked me through and it seemed that i reckon i can do it.,

i take it the photos not life sized?

if its off another raddo then it is easy just one clamp and then abit of twisting and turning to get the old one off and then just reverse to get new one on.

 

it wouldn't do no harm as well to change the mounting rubbers

my dad now claims that you need all these socket things to take off the backbox (which we dont have)

he hasnt even looked under the car once

your dad's sort of right, its easier to undo the brackets holding the rubbers (done up with bolts, for which you'd need a socket) rather than wiggling and twisting until it comes off.

 

get yourself to halfords and buy a cheap set of sockets and a driver/ratchet thingy!

shouldn't be too hard to slip the old one off with proper lubrication :norty:
