alan_edward 0 Posted October 5, 2005 If my car needs tracking, the steering is on one side and the car pulls to one particular side too. Can any sort of noise come from the wheels, etc? Just wondering. Cheers Alan
Trig 0 Posted October 6, 2005 Had my tracking done recently, one of my toe settings was way out. Car handles LOADS better now and I have lost some noises that were happening when going over bumps etc.
_Monkey 0 Posted October 6, 2005 If you've lowered it, your camber could be out too, it's worth checking just to save tyres- i had camber issues on a mk2 once, i had to change the tyres every 6 weeks!
stevemac 0 Posted October 6, 2005 Deffo worth getting the camber checked.
Musicman 0 Posted October 6, 2005 I had some issues with pulling to one side on my old Scirocco GTII - went to the garage, had it checked and tracking, etc. was all perfectly within tolerances. Turned out it was the tyres: when I came to replace them a short while later it all sorted itself out :?
alan_edward 0 Posted October 6, 2005 got the tyres sorted out. Apparently all the wheels are slightly buckled according to elite. All because of a bloody speed bump IMO. Noise is still there. I will leave it like that until something breaks and then fix it. I am fed up of spending £££ on my car. Alan
