CoxyLaad 0 Posted October 14, 2005 I am done the usual searches and it only comes up with EIP or HGP. Are there any other sources of information for turbo charging a v6 24v motor?

LowG 0 Posted October 14, 2005 What do you want to know? Are you interesed in a kit or general info on v6 turbo? The 24v V6 responds well to boost but it needs to be prepared, ie changing the base NA into a FI. Other than that its all fun when you are straped to a full blown T4 :). potatonet 0 Posted October 14, 2005 well. what are you looking for exactly? want more turbo kits for newer VR6 engines? just buy the HGP one, I mean it works right?
CoxyLaad 0 Posted October 15, 2005 I have a V6 24v motor, I am thinking of turboing it I wanted some info. HGP....bit expensive.... I was looking at the EIP stage 1 kit. no internal mods and 375bhp. Sounds good. Is there anywhere where I can get hold of parts like a turbo manifold for a V6 24v?

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 15, 2005 £399 is a good price! Just watch that brake resevoir clearance, in fact if it were me I'd relocate it anyway as the turbo heat my warp it, or worse, melt it.

Lippy 0 Posted October 16, 2005 hrmm they also seem to make 16v turbo manifolds, pity they are out of stock :(
KADVR6 0 Posted October 16, 2005 yeh one thing about that street racing place, is that they never carry stock, but if i remember right, they do get the stock in within a week, so not that bad, :D

Is'nt that just for the manifold kev? 399 seems like a bargin to t charge a vr6? - then again i might be missing something
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 16, 2005 Aye, it is, but I remember when high nickel content manifolds were like £500 or so for a 16v! So 400 notes isn't bad for a VR6 job. Would be cheaper overall buying the whole kit I suspect though.
