corradophil 3 Posted November 17, 2005 9a is what was fitted to the 2.0 16v Corrado and Passat. 6a is the Audi 2.0 16v. ABF is tall block 2.0 16v in Mk3 Golfs and Seats etc. You can get the complete engine code for your car from the log book, it will be 9A followed by several numbers.
