Green16v 0 Posted December 7, 2005 Can anyone tell me the easiest way to lower my car 40-50mm can I use say a vr6 setup or will it need a specialist lowering kit?? Cheers for the help
Henny 0 Posted December 7, 2005 you can use one from a G60, 16V or 8V, but NOT a VR6 as they have different front suspension setups.... try Venom Motorsport ( linky! ) as they do some reasonable cheap suspension kits... 8)
robbymac 0 Posted December 9, 2005 i have a vr6 setup on mine 1990 16v all you have to do is change the top mount and your laughing just keep G60 top mounts and there you go done
dinkus 10 Posted December 9, 2005 While you can get the VR6 bits to fit, the spring/damping rates aren't going to be ideal for a valver/G60 because the VR is a quite considerably heavier lump...
.Rich. 0 Posted December 9, 2005 I have some brand new highsports for a valver which im planning on putting on a vr6 when i get one, so i hope that works
catch_twotwo 0 Posted December 9, 2005 If they're not made for the VT6 then the fronts going to sink low and ride badly I should think. The VR6 engine weighs much more than the others....
.Rich. 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Thats what i assumed but i think others have used konigsports and they are ok?
catch_twotwo 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Yes, Konigsport do 2 different sets... one for VR6 and one for the other Rado models.
