What's next on the list.....

My C is pretty much gone...so thoughts move on to my next ride. But there are some guidelines I need to follow. The car has to be LHD and either a 90 or 91 ( so I can import it back to Canada)

The 2 cars I'm considering are the E34 M5 or a 90/1 Audi S2....

 

Would do you guys think?????

this Audi S2 is really interesting me....mainly cause it's all wheel drive which would be great for a canadian climate...and they weren't available in canada...which would make me the only kid on the block with one!!!! 8)

i've been doing some research and the S2 parts shouldn't be too hard to come by....alot guys in the U.S have converted their Audi Coupes to S2's....and plus....the web makes getting parts a breeze nowadays

You need to get yourself onto mobile.de and nip over to Germany with a load of Euros. You can buy something there and get a months insurance with your 'export' plates. Stick it in lock up till you go home.

s2 COUPE all the way for me . get off the fence and get one bought. not into old beemers - the s2 coupe is

 

- smarter

- rarer? (irrelevent if neither were in canada i s'pose)

- more practical (hatch)

- more modern looking of the 2

- did i say far better looking

- oh! and its prettier ;)

- and through squinty eyes, sort of looks like a fat corrado :)

 

I'm sure you know what they look like but.........

M5 sounds lovely, take it we are talking 3.8 model? Bit scarey in the wet or ice though just slightly!

 

I drove an S2 the other day, very quick and still sounds nice. Just dull lifeless non communicative steering. Over powered for mums parking in waitrose me thinks! Fun in a straight line though and yes, obviously great in your bad weather season.

 

Both have mega parts prices, but both are very strong...........
