URGENT HELP! 4.10pm, where does this pipe go from air pipe?

from the elbow in the air inlet pipe underneith there are two pipes, one goes to the brake servo vacume thing, where does the red lined pipe go to on the engine?

ok i have plugged it into there, would it make any differnce to the idleing or running of the car baring in mind i've been driving it since i've brought it without this pipe connected for about 4 months now, would it cure my troubles in the car taking a while to start up in the morning?

The long hose connected to the airbox operates a flap to switch between cold and hot air intake. The cold air is drawn from behind the O/S headlight, the hot air from the exhaust manifold via a large ducting pipe if it's still there.

damn, just remembered i didnt put that ductiing pipe back on, WHOOPS! gotta do that in the dark now!

gee thanks. just goin off topic my warm air hose has been replaced with that silver bendy crap and is worse for wear would this effect running? where can i get a new 1 tried stealers £35

It would probably be cheaper to get another cheap bendy silver pipe.

Available at most good motor factors or failing that ...Halfrauds

Just bin it! its only there to help car running in -10 degrees which you wont get in uk anyway (i dont think)
