corradophil 3 Posted January 3, 2006 where abouts is that as you look in the engine bay? The side of the airbox. There is a round diaphragm which it operates.

-Neil- 0 Posted January 3, 2006 ok i have plugged it into there, would it make any differnce to the idleing or running of the car baring in mind i've been driving it since i've brought it without this pipe connected for about 4 months now, would it cure my troubles in the car taking a while to start up in the morning? corradophil 3 Posted January 3, 2006 The long hose connected to the airbox operates a flap to switch between cold and hot air intake. The cold air is drawn from behind the O/S headlight, the hot air from the exhaust manifold via a large ducting pipe if it's still there.
-Neil- 0 Posted January 3, 2006 damn, just remembered i didnt put that ductiing pipe back on, WHOOPS! gotta do that in the dark now! this is where i plugged that pipe to....

Valerian 0 Posted January 3, 2006 It would probably be cheaper to get another cheap bendy silver pipe. Available at most good motor factors or failing that ...Halfrauds
