hi people just a quick one

does any body know the part number for the corrado vr6 steering rack

also does a golf one fit?

 

i have been give these two numbers are they right

 

part no. on the rack is 192 422 055

 

the new superseding no. is 192 422 061

Corrado VR6 1H2 422 061 A (original, if you are lucky) or ending with AX (reconditioned, mostly likely stocked by dealer)

Right, the part number on the rack I have for sale is (vr6 golf) 192 422 055

 

Type this number into etka and it tells me it has been superseded with the part number 192 422 061

 

192 422 061 is the number etka gives me for a corrado steering rack

 

So it should fit I think???

 

Someone else please either confirm or dismiss this statement, to try and help s.g get his rack and me clear some space!

I think the Golf one is different as it has more lock. Corrado racks have less lock due to the shallower inner arches. Well, that's the only difference Stealth have been able to ascertain at least....

 

I have a rado rack here actually, p/n - 1H2 422 061A which matches VR6Dom's number.
