GrahamU 6 Posted January 31, 2006 Mine was sticking and hard to push down, it was the cable needed replacing.
selbekk 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Try to tie a couple of helium balloons to your shoe laces. Will make your foot lighter. Your corrado isn't the only one, as far as I have understood. This problem, or "throttlus maximus", in the correct terminology, is one of the most known problems with the corrado. Known signs of throttlus maximus is a very low mpg, uneven tyre wear (usually especially hard on the front tires for some reason), and loss of driving privilegies. There is no known cure for this problem, but the balloon-trick has helped me a lot.

corradophil 3 Posted February 17, 2006 Somone keeps putting specialy desgined pad trimmed in matching carpet under the throttle of mine to stop this terrible problem, AKA the mat. I have learned to live with this condition, but do accept it can cause serious injury and even be life threatening.
STORM 2 0 Posted February 17, 2006 I believe Lancs constabulary have a day therapy course for those particularly afflicted with this condition - it is recommended if only to avoid permanent scarring to one's driving licence
4stud 0 Posted February 17, 2006 This almost sounds the same as "roundabout maximus". That's what mine suffers from.
_Monkey 0 Posted February 17, 2006 I'm afraid i've advanced to the last stage, where I can only pull my foot off the pedal just long enough to change gear!
timg60 0 Posted February 18, 2006 I have looked into this, seems to be a very common problem with corrado owners, only sorted with flashing blue lights   :lcop:
