mrbeige 0 Posted March 14, 2006 You've all quite clearly missed the question. My VR6 engine is best. And you all smell funny  PMSL
24V Renshaw 0 Posted March 14, 2006 maybe a silly question, but why so little boost, with some people the G-lader pushing out 18psi av, why only 6psi av on the v6's, could you bolt a bahnbrenner to an R32/ vr engine, not counting the room for fitment (i know thats a problem) Quite simply volume. Pounds per Square Inch says it all really. Putting the same amount of air into a bigger space will give less PSI as there are more SI's. 2.8L against 1.8L of volume. Thats the same reason little 1.3 Renault 5 Turbos run 24PSI+ as its dead easy to do on such a small volume. Jay
24V Renshaw 0 Posted March 14, 2006 concentrate on getting it running nicely and don't worry about the pub numbers. nice line that, agreed (but I still want to be able to say I've got over 400bhp one day!) Totally agree. Peak figures mean nothing. You can have peak Torque and BHP over a very very small range, spread that over a bigger range with a lower peak and the latter will be a much quicker car.
