JMC 0 Posted March 10, 2006 I am wanting to replace the slightly ratty rocker cover in my G60, and was wondering if anybody sells these already coated/painted/polished. I seem to recall rumours of someone who goes to No-Rice, but can't remember who it is. Any advice most welcome folks.....
Blue_Joe 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Get yours powder coated. Painting just flakes off. Cost me £30 to get mine done and only takes a day normally
JMC 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Cheers Blue_Joe, I'll have a look around here to see if anyone can do it. I presume it needs to be well preped first (stripped, cleaned, sanded etc) before coating??...
Blue_Joe 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Normally they will prep it! They did for mine all in the cost
_Monkey 0 Posted March 10, 2006 You could try Trimsport, they cost around 70ish for a polished one, but it's a top job and comes back looking like a mirror! I almost didn't wanna put mine on!!!

JMC 0 Posted March 12, 2006 Cheers guys. I was wondering if there was anywhere that I could buy one, and then when I swap them over I can send mine back as part if the exchange. Will have a look at the Trimsport page...

He was the guy with the lovely white Rocco on BBSs parked up by the Corrados at e38. Lovely chap His mobile number's in this post selling some wheels. http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=14690

JMC 0 Posted March 14, 2006 Cheers Billinjahg60, how much are you after for it?? It seems as though the places that can do the polishing need one to work with, and as mine's a daily driver that's not really an option.
