Rev Counter wire

Hello

Does anyone know what the colour and position of the rev counter wire is coming into the back of the fusebaord.

 

I have narrowed it down to either a blue wire or a yellow and black one.

 

Anyone?

do you have a continuity tester m8? :)

 

stick one end on the wire at the coil end (if thats where they take feed from? think it is)

 

and the other on either of the 2 wires you found.

 

if the tester dosnt reach,just stick some speaker wire or anything similar on the tester to lengthen it. :)

its normally black/red on 16v i think

On my 2.0 16v it was blue/green in the engine bay but strangely changes colour at the clocks to (i think) yellow. On a G60 the tacho wire in the engine bay is Green/Yellow
