JohnJ 0 Posted September 8, 2003 I thought Action was one of the best events of the year... Really good mix of air & water cooled and the quality of the show cars was immense. Interesting to see the hot-rod trends in the air cooled brigade, lots of candy paint, ghost flames and scrolling. Never seen so many polished Porsche rims in one place! The workmanship and details on the matt-black race Beetle were unbelievable...plenty ideas could be carried into a C! Lots of traders, a funfair, beer tent etc Well worth considering for next year. joebloggsVR69 0 Posted September 8, 2003 I went to the VW action show near Luton in June - was soo bad in my opinion :( The things I liked were the beautiful Karman Ghias and some restored beetles. Werent any Corrado's there :?
