I've had a golf vr6, and i was told the NGK's are really good, if you can't get them then Bosch Platinum Tip.

Do a search mate, has been discussed a lot. I'd go for standard NGK ones but I think Golf 16v ones work as well and they're cheap. NGK ones are BKR5EKU or BKR5EKUP (Platinum - longer life)
