STOCK MK4 rear disc size

Whats the size of the stock MK4 rear discs - for the MK4 caliper upgrade?

I can't figure out whether theyre the 256mm or smaller?

 

For that matter, anyone know the part number of the Goodridge conversion hoses?

the conversion hoses you can get from stealth, the mk4 discs aren't needed just use corrado discs wth corrado caliper carriers and mk calipers.

I thought the best combination was to use MK4 discs with the MK4 calipers as per Kev's combo

 

I didnt know you could use the MK4 calipers with the Corrado rear caliper carriers :oops: The calipers look much bigger :scratch:

 

BTW, is there any problem changing to vented discs of the same size at the rear?

kev used rado discs,, you have to use the carriers or they wont go on,, the calipers for the vented discs wont fit.

mk3 gti pads work best apparently i used them on kevs advice.

MK4 discs are the same diametre but only 9mm wide, they will not fit tho becuase the Corrado uses the taper rear wheel bearings.

got these from the Dealers today as well as some corrado disks and bearings - just waiting on the hoses from C+R (£30)

Get the rear ABS cages as well as they distort easily when taken off...

In the style of Columbo, "Just One More Question.." Do the MK 4 caliper pistons wind back or are they pushed back?

wind back but are far easier to wind than the old style calipers.
