a bit of advise of all you corrado boffs /ive got a vr6 corrado and have been havin alot of trouble with it !ive now spent £1500 on the engine rebuild(its a 1993 k ) and now the damn heater matrix has gone .do iget rid or keep plodin on with it i cant decide/only other option is go back to a golf vr cauz the runnin cost are so much cheaper .warren

I can safely say asking that question on a Corrado Forum will get you a pretty unanimous answer of keep the Corrado ;)

The Golf has the same problems as any other car that is 10yrs + old. The newer ones might be a bit better, with the OBD etc, bit it still looks sh*t next to a C IMO :)

Keep the rado, you have spent the money on the rebuild so apart from the matrix going i assume the car must be running sweet. Plus if your anything like me when i drive my corrado i have a permanent grin from ear to ear. Keep it mate it looks good.

Thing is mate you know your Rad and you know whats been done to it and hopefully whats needing done..You cut your losses and buy a Golf you could be starting all over again.

Keep the Rad you know it makes sense. :thumbleft:

the majority of people ( me included ) who sell their C end up regretting it, stick with it mate, you got a rather unique motor and becoming rarer as time passes, at least you kinda know the score with the motor you got :thumbleft:

I've done it before and regretted it for 6 years! Wife took the opportunity to get pregnant twice so I had to get a passat for the child seats. Got a VR6 now and I'm keeping it till it falls apart. I've already had the engine changed, chains and tensioners re-done, so stick with it, they are just so enjoyable to drive.

Knocks spots off any Golf (I've had 2) handling is not as good and they are as common as hell. I always get heads turning with my C, probably cause it soooooo dirty!!
