MarkGolf 0 Posted April 20, 2006 How did you do it without that mushroom tool... And how to check if they are seats coorectly?
h100vw 0 Posted April 21, 2006 Are you talking about fitting the stem seals to the top of the guides? I have a pair of pliers for removing them, that will also put them back. Failing that, find a socket that they sit nicely in and use that with an extension, to push them down. Gavin
steveo29 0 Posted April 21, 2006 i use a deep socket(about 10mm i think ) to push em on
quicky1980 0 Posted April 21, 2006 i used a deep socket too when rebuilding my cylinder head. If you have a gasket kit dont forget to put the cover on the end of the valve when placing them back into the head. it helps protect the seals.
