Blinky16v 0 Posted April 25, 2006 Hi All, OK need to get my car running a little bit richer, would an FSE Power Boost valve be any benefit on my 2.0L 16v 9A K-Jet C? I have modded the car a little, see sig for details, but I was wondering if anyone here had any experience of these on a Valver? Blinky16v 0 Posted April 25, 2006 Ahhh might be a KE-Jetronic on the 9A... :oops: I've had a remap to get the mixture as rich as it can be configured but its still lean compared to other 9A valvers so was wondering if the FSE PBV would actually get the mixture richer without having to mess with replacing the fuelling system... Blinky16v 0 Posted April 25, 2006 Hi Gav, Went up to see Vince at Stealth who after running the car on the rollers had to make up a custom chip to stop it running lean at high revs after I had added the mods listed in my sig. He made a comment that he could not get the mixture any richer via the remap, I got the impression he wanted to get it running richer but could not, I think it is something to do with the current stock fuelling system I have being the reason. I was looking into using an fse PBV to avoid the costly changing to a better fuel management system. I'm running at 153bhp at the mo and some valvers here are running near that as stock, so adding 2+2 to get 5 I think the problem might be the mixture. But if it can't be used on a valver then I can save myself the £80.. NB: My mekanical knodelidge sucks btw :) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

g60bv 0 Posted April 26, 2006 yes i do. i forked out on one. and back in the days when jabba sport were good. i took it up there for a custom road map. and it splutered at high revs. we removed it for a std one and it was fine. they don't keep a constant pressure. i sold it, then another friend had the same effects. don't waste your money.
