OutlaW 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Hi gang I am new to this forum, and i could not find the first post area , so this is it. I recently bought a 1.7 vct Ford Puma ... but i have a young son and this car is not practical. So i am on the look out for something a little bit bigger inside and outside. I have made a porposal for a swap with my Puma, for a yellow Corrado G60. The salesman said he was going to ask his boss if the swap was possible, but then it hit me ... here in Portugal, we have ton's , and i mean TON's of polo G40, but the Corrado G60 is a rare car. I have seen a lot of web pictures, and almost all car's have a racing steering whell... but i thought the Corrado had airbags. Can anyone tell me if this is correct ? Does it have airbags ? And can i put a airbag steering wheel back on, since the auto sail shop has put a wooden steering wheel
Blue_Joe 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Hi None of the Corrados have airbags and never have! Also the Corrado really isn't any bigger than a Puma, maybe slightly but nothing major.
Guest Posted May 28, 2006 I love a G60 being described as practical :D welcome to the forum, no airbags i'm afraid :( new posts usually go in 'General Car' btw :) Dave
OutlaW 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Hi None of the Corrados have airbags and never have! Also the Corrado really isn't any bigger than a Puma, maybe slightly but nothing major. Hi thanks for the quick reply :) Outside i really dont see a lot of difference in size, but as pictures show me , the Corrado is a major change ... It looks huge ! My Puma almost can't fit my son's child seat and his babycar :(

Cnut 0 Posted May 28, 2006 Hi None of the Corrados have airbags and never have! Also the Corrado really isn't any bigger than a Puma, maybe slightly but nothing major. Yeah they did, the last of the Corrados do but they weren't avaliable in this country but were in the continent but this doesn't help cause the G60 was only avaliable till 92 anyway

OutlaW 0 Posted May 28, 2006 ......and the corrado is far far more sexier than the puma :D Yeah, but sexy and sleek doesn't help me when travelling with my kid :) Nevermind sexyness, the Rado is roomier ;) ok, ok... now that i got one thing sorted... another newbie question: Since this is a used G60, and there aren't many around here ... what should i look for and mind my money for ? In other word's, what could be wrong with the car, that i should be on the look out @ the auto sell shop ?
