Supercharged 2 Posted July 11, 2006 As soon as i'm just above the red area I fill up - never want to risk it! Plus it's never a good idea to go much lower as the fuel cools the pump along with keeping it quiet. Use ther reserve reguarly and the lifting part of the pump will fail prematurely. 16vradge 0 Posted July 11, 2006 As soon as i'm just above the red area I fill up - never want to risk it! /\ I do that religously now - it's hard to judge the level on the gauge due to the angle of the clocks and the adjustment on the seat, from the angle I look at it when sat back its at the top of the red, when I sit up and look straight on its at the bottom.
