Duecenickletreyg60 0 Posted July 3, 2006 i have a 90 g60 and the supercharger is in need of a rebuild, it is leaking oil into my intake and down through the intercooler up into the intake manifold , i know that bahn brenner rebuilds them for around $700 but being a college student im not floating in cash. i was wondering if anyone knew of a way to run the car without the supercharger, that way it would still be drivable until i have the money for the rebuild? any information would be much apretiated! kongo127 0 Posted July 4, 2006 Yes, it is possible to run your car without the supercharger. All you need it to get a shorter v-belt (don´t know it´s size right now), there are different belt sizes for A/C and non A/C cars. You also need to remove the oil feed hose and block the oil coming from the engine. Re-route your air filter directly to the intercooler. You´ll be impressed by how much power you´ll loose without the supercharger! Keep posting! :)

kongo127 0 Posted June 10, 2007 I took a look at the Canadians Corrado Forum. I found out that the shorter belt to run the car without the supercharger is the 6PK1500. I just wonder if this belt is for cars with or without A/C. My car does not have A/C, so which one is the correct belt?
Dubsingh 0 Posted June 13, 2007 if your savy wiv using toosl and dnt mind a bit of graft you can rebuild it yoursel....the main culprit is the oil seals for which you can do a half service yourself...pm me if you want seal sizes
