fitting mk4 rear calipers

just found out that my g60 rear calipers are fooked, and was wondering how hard it is to fit mk4 calipers and also will i be able to use my g60 discs and pads as i have just brought some new brembo discs and pagid pads.

Hardest bit for me was getting the old caliper carriers off as they were seixed on. Aprt from that it was easy.

All you need is Mk4 rear callipers and some Mk2->Mk4 Goodridge adapter hoses and off you go.

 

You can use the standard Corrado pads, but apparently you get the best brake feel with Mk4 ones.

 

Otherwise, the handbrake cable is the same.

Aye but you have to get the carrier off if you want to put new discs on, that was the hard bit for me! :lol:

Yep, make sure you have an angle grinder at the ready!

If you get stuck with the caliper carrier bolts (like I did) use IRWIN BOLT GRIPPER sockets - fantastic!
