flusted 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Ive just fitted a piper 285 cam (thanks billinjah!) but now my idle is lumpy as and it struggles to idle. Is there a way of increasing the tickover? I had a look to where the tickover screw would be on a normal throttlebody, but mine seems to have a brass plug in it? iow corrado g60s car has same cam and his idles loverly? Im 99% sure i have all timing marks spot on and the rotor is pointing to mark on dizzy. The exhaust note is alot louder on tickover now aswell? What do you reckon? Henny 0 Posted September 5, 2006 get the car upto temp. Disconnect the blue temp sensor and rev 3x to over 3000rpm. Adjust the brass idle screw (on the back of the throttle body) so your idle is pretty much where you want it. Rev 3x to over 3000rpm and let the car idle. Repeat until you're happy with the idle speed. Reconnect the blue temp sensor... done.... 8)
