Supercharged 2 Posted September 17, 2006 They used to be a bin part at the dealers but I get my stuff from Audi now so had to order a few in last time... VW used to just give them away...
Chris VR6nos 0 Posted September 17, 2006 I used double sided sticky tape to stick my 'Supercharged' badge on and it's solid so either way. Chris
craigowl 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Dont think VAGs prices were much different to ECPs, to be fair. They are only a 37p each or something, so dont drive miles to ECP if your VAG dealer is close!
toon vw 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Yeah thanks for that boys, theres a dealer only about 6 or 7 miles away so i think a trip there is in order....see if i can blag some from them.....well i did pay a full £29 the other day on a new set of number plates & a rear chrome vr6 badge so i'm probably one of there best customers now
craigowl 0 Posted September 18, 2006 toon vw part no on my VAG invoice is 191853615A - it is called "clip" (a bit daft, I reckon) and mine cost 36p plus VAT at VAG. ECP part no is 855440450 known as "badge grommet" and cost 37p plus VAT (their's are in black, but fit perfectly. Do not assume they will be in stock at either place - both VAG and ECP had to order mine but they were in next day at ECP and 2 days at VAG.

shawshankkid 1 Posted September 18, 2006 Toon vw - I put new clips in about a year ago. its best to put them in with some silicon sealant around them as mine let water into the boot. Although they looked a nice tight fit you would be suprised how much water they can let in through the corrado script. took me ages to work out why the boot was getting wet until i went into the boot through the back seat with a torch while it was persisting with rain one day, sure enough it was the clips.
